Those are some very good points Sonicbrawler and Droppie made.

I still prefer Legends/Origins soundtrack over the other titles.

I understand Sonicbrawler's viewpoint, I really do, but I feel that he's not invested in 'art' itself enough to grasp why Origins and Legends - quite outside the boundaries of an opinion - are so aesthetically fucked.

if you WALK through the ubiart games as i try to, its a lot more enjoyable, granted im behind everybody in lum total. the music was fantastic and perfectly set so i cant complain on heral's work much. the story elements, while present, deserve a 4/10 for being there but no text or explanation as to why the dark teensies do what they do (kidnap princess). making them feel a tad like they have ice-king syndrome. although most worlds spoke for themselves no text or anything gave you a clue why murphy had to patrol a retarded globox through half the levels in the game or who even controlled the nightmares. is janus even alive anymore?

Alright. We currently do not know the status of Jano, but I want to say he's still alive.

I must be easy to impress, if RL has no atmosphere! I found that game very immersive (probably due to the fact that I was making up my own little ways for the story to progress, and I find having to rush very exciting).

It's kinda cool you get to improvise a story for Legends. It's like what kids in the 80s and 90s did. Really gets the creative mind going.

No, I'd just want one with an actual story instead of being a co-op game like Origins and Legends. I mean, sure they are nice but I find that it gets a bit boring after a while. Also I'm not a stuck up on Rayman 2 since the third one is my favorite.

If Rayman 3 wasn't plagued with forced jokes and terrible design choices, I would prefer it over Rayman 2. Still, it's a pretty great game.

The jokes are different in French, its actually funny unlike the English version, but I guess that is just me. ( Example would be the hoodstomper while you crush all the hoodlums. The commentary gets hilarious. ) I don't know what you mean by terrible design though, I found the enemies pretty original.

Origins, Legends, 3, and the first Rabbids (I like the other ones but don't count them as the main series games) are probably my favorite Rayman games. I'm not saying Rabbids is better than 2, but I just prefer it more.

The humor in Rayman 3 was a bit hit and miss. There were some really bad jokes, but there were really good ones (Globox thinking he's opening the doors in the Longest Shortcut, the commenter for the hoodstomper) and even though some people hate 3's portrayal of Murphy, I love it. I treat it in the way I treat Sonic Colors, hit and miss story, awesome gameplay. Except, I don't consider Sonic Colors the best in the series, unlike Rayman 3.

@ZeptoRay Could you provide a few examples of the French dialogue. I never knew the French version had different writing, I'm very interested to see.

I just like to explain why I love Legends and Origins over the other games.

Reason 1: I absolutely love the art style. I think I love the character designs, I think they are the best in my honest opinion. And the worlds just gives me a Wow sense unlike the other titles. They are beautiful in their own way.

Reason 2: I'm just in love the music. I'm sorry but Rayman 2's soundtrack is my least favorite (it's not bad, it's just not my taste). I'm a sucker for orchestrated music and Origins/ Legends are packed with it and the melodies are enjoyable.

Reason 3: The fluid 2D platforming. This is self-explanatory.

Those are my reasons on why I prefer the two titles. It's not much but it's the best way I could put it.

Yeah sure, here is what I could hear from all the hoodlums shooting and probably messing up some of the words but its pretty close.
This is for the hoodstomper.

" Hello everyone! Welcome in live in the arena of the clearleaf forest where Rayman is about to give a lesson to the Hoodlums "
" Rayman is giving a lesson to the hoodlums, its the lesson of school! "
" We are assisting are real parody of walk its scandalous!" ( I actually don't really know for this one, the hoodlums wouldn't stop shooting but i'm pretty sure its that.)
" Oh boy oh boy, Rayman and the hoodlums sure wont go on vacation together."
" What a good play of legs, the hoodlums have nothing in their socks anymore."
" We can say that Rayman is a real steamroller!"
And there is some that I couldn't hear over the shooting hoodlums.

Globox says pretty much the same things just with some variation like "We will be restricted to 16+". But nothing really changes about that or the cutscenes.

About that, he sounds way better in French, the English version kind of...lacked life in the voices? In French Murfy sound full of energy and enthusiastic, in English he sounds kind of dead and lame. While I like the voice of Rayman in English, its lacking something that the French voice have.
