No, I got it because my xbox was dying and that the 360 can't read the CD apparently but its not worth it otherwise, keep playing on the GameCube version or get it on PC. There was some things changed in the HD version that i noticed.SegaNintendoUbisoft wrote:I already own the GameCube version, but I'm wondering. Is the HD version worth it?
Globox doesn't say anything when you punch him or in front of the doors in the Greatest Shortcut ( or whatever the level is called in English. )
Some textures were changed.
Some effects were changed ( less "fireworks" behind Rayman after the Reflux boss. The second Reflux boss doesn't "scream" something in the original color but some other ) and some other things, also glitches. The only good thing about it is that you can play it on modern consoles and that its not "blurry" because its in HD.

I've heard it has more glitches than the original, which is a total shame.Bionichute wrote:From what I've heard, no.SegaNintendoUbisoft wrote:I already own the GameCube version, but I'm wondering. Is the HD version worth it?
Re: Rayman 3
I still want to purchase the PC version, is it good?
Re: Rayman 3
I got a download for the PC version. ( but then I had to get a fix for no CD and it doesn't seem to save my settings for controls so I have to set them all the time before i play and I get a bug where it wont play the major cutscenes. ) But its good, the controls are a bit hard since you can't really move diagonally while doing the helicopter , there is no camera that you can control ( it follows pretty great though, it wont really get in your way. ) and that there is no zoom for the look mode but apart that its good.
Re: Rayman 3
I'll give you a tip: it is the version I play with since 2003.Bradandez wrote:I still want to purchase the PC version, is it good?
Re: Rayman 3
My first time playing the PC version I had a lot of trouble with the controls. Second time not as much. Still annoys me how I have to twist my hand during combat though.ZeptoRay wrote:I got a download for the PC version. Controls are pretty hard on keyboard for me.

Re: Rayman 3
Funny, I play Rayman 2 with keyboard controls with no problem, but I use my PS3 controller when playing Rayman 3.
Re: Rayman 3
I think I've just gotten used to playing with a keyboard. I seem to be the only person in the world that plays first person games without a controller, although those are really not hard to play.
Re: Rayman 3
I still wonder why so many people complain about the keyboard, I personally have much more ease playing in a keyboard than in a controller most of the times.
Re: Rayman 3
Probably because they are used playing with controller.Haruka wrote:I still wonder why so many people complain about the keyboard, I personally have much more ease playing in a keyboard than in a controller most of the times.

Re: Rayman 3
Nah, depends on what degree of control I need, seeing as scoring is a big thing in Rayman 3, I like to have maximum control over my movements, so I can precisely chain gems. In Rayman 2, I don't mind using keys, as there's no need for that kind of precision.
Re: Rayman 3
Its a bit hard at first but then it gets easy, well that's just me, I'm already used to play with the keyboard for both Rayman 2 and Rayman 3. I play everything on PC with my keyboard actually.
Re: Rayman 3
Alrighty, once I get some spare spending money I'll see if I can purchase it.

Re: Rayman 3
I've printed the Rayman 3 Print Studio calendar, and since the year of 2003 and 2004 cannot be changed, I solved this by myself (manually):

Re: Rayman 3
Despite owning the disc, I never tried out Print Studio. Calendar looks great. I have to try out Print Studio once.

Re: Rayman 3
I find it hilarious that Print Studio uses MMengine just like Rayman Activity Center.
