Still waiting for SMG 3.
3D World looks cool but it is too linear for me.

if they keep what they have in terms of items and story, instead of creating dog mario and peachs castle being uprooted again. however i'd much perfer to see sunshine 2, but i digress.

Hm, I'm still curious to see what the story is going to be, seeing as Peach is playable, part of me wonders if Wart will make his return, given the parallels between 3D World, and SMB 2.

Story:
Bowser has been kidnapped by Wart so Mario and friends must defeat evil Wart and rescue Bowser

Final boss battle will maybe get leaked early like it was for 3D Land

Yup, the frog.
Hm, Y'know, I wish they'd give Bowser more of a personality in the main series, he just acts like a straight up villain in the main games, yet he exudes quite a charming and rather humorous and likeable personality in many of the RPGs.

Mario Galaxy 2 is much better than the first, and is one of my favourite games of all time. The first is still a great game though. And I honestly loved the Rosalina backstory, it was heart-breaking and heart warming at the same time. It was one of the best things to come out of a Mario game, and I honestly don't get what everyone's problem with it was, especially since it was a completely optional part of the game. The ending was also really cool.

As for the Storybook Sonic games, they are flawed, but I enjoy them. Partly because I love their stories. They are odd, but they work. And the soundtrack and graphics of those games was amazing.

I think the storybook series had great potential. It just didn't live up to it. I always wanted to see a Sonic game based on Greek mythology, it probably won't happen.

If they don't want every Sonic game to take place in the world from his Mega Drive days then I hope they'll simply create new places. As long as they make sure to never dare put another real world Sonic game on the shelves I'm happy.

Sonic was also in real world in Adventure series so you would dislike Adventure 3 if it was made?

The game still retained a somewhat stylised feel, 06 tried to go for a more realistic feel overall.

I will never forget that Sonic X Elise thing. It totally ruined Sonic's persona for me. He should be the character who is too cool for such romantic stuff. A guy whose only love is speed (and chili dogs). He was designed as Anti-Mario. He was saving world and not princesses. Clement explained all that better than me in 3 hour review. Still Sonic 06 killed his persona. I am one of those guys who is against Sonic being in a romantic relationship because it does not match his persona in my opinion and expecially not with a human.

I think it's fine for Sonic to be in the real world, as long as the humans are stylised, and the stages still have surreal elements. Unleashed was like that, and I loved it.

As for Sonic and romance, I'm torn on the idea. Most of me thinks they shouldn't bring him near the concept, and I prefer the way they have him avoid the swooning fan girl that is Amy, as it's a funny dynamic I've never gotten tired of.

However, they occasionally have these borderline romantic moments with Sonic and a female character, and I have to admit I like them quite a bit. The endings of the two storybook games are perfect examples, where Sonic is a borderline romantic with Shahra and Merlina.

And then there is that one scene in the Japanese Sonic X where it is hinted that Sonic does actually have romantic feelings for Amy, but for whatever reason, he just can't be with her in a committed relationship (though it's easy to make a few guesses as to why). And they do go on a date or two over the course of the show, IIRC.

So while I think Sonic should never get into a relationship with any character, I think it's OK to cast him as a closet romantic. It's one of the more interesting aspects of his personality.

Also, The BrainScratch crew, Johnny's channel, SGBLikesToPlay, and Clement are all awesome.

So much this, I loved the way Unleashed looked, the environments tended to go with realistic lighting, but still had a very nice surreal spin to 'em.

Johnny also has a LP channel where he plays with his brother and a friend, called SGBLikesToPlay, give 'em a shot.
I really enjoyed BSC's recent Metroid Prime playthrough, also. I don't follow every single one of their playthroughs, I'll watch the first ep and decide whether or not I feel I want to follow it, for instance, I followed their Heroes run, but not their SMG run.
