I definitely agree with you.THEdragon wrote:CubedLuck, I quite understand what you mean. He did have a lot more character in Rayman 3 than in any other game, just a less pleasant one in my opinion.

i enjoy merfy no matter how he acts, its how globox has changed that annoyes me
Re: Rayman Legends
Yeah, I don't really like how they changed Globox either. Never really cared much for the character but I don't really like how he's become that 'fat, slapstick, brainless goofball'.

Because Globox totally didn't talk in hulk speak, do a silly dance, and be a complete coward in Rayman 2, no sir.THEdragon wrote:Yeah, I don't really like how they changed Globox either. Re: Rayman Legends
Well, in Rayman 3 he actually is a character with an actual personality! In Rayman 2 he is just a very, very annoying gameplay element that basically tells you how to move around. I liked his character in Rayman 3 a lot... then came Rayman Origins, where he was an even more annoying gameplay element - asking you to leave the levels you are trying so hard to complete!THEdragon wrote:CubedLuck, I quite understand what you mean. Re: Rayman Legends
Murfy? Oh, god, yes. I hate it whenever he pops on screen asking if you want to leave. It almost feels like he's patronizing you in a way, doesn't it? But to me, he's much more annoying in Rayman 2. Thankfully, he becomes useful for once in Legends, which I still have yet to be able to play.SilentSanctuary wrote:Well, in Rayman 3 he actually is a character with an actual personality! It's almost like Clippy:
"It appears you suck playing this level, wanna call it quits, ya big loser?"

Re: Rayman Legends
*Exactly.
Yeah, it doesn't really serve much purpose anyways, if one wants to quit, they can easily do so in the pause menu, this isn't Rayman 1 where you'll need to reset if you're halfway through a level.

Globox is suppoused to be helpful and silly, not unhelpful and an idiot.THEdragon wrote:Yeah, I don't really like how they changed Globox either. Never really cared much for the character but I don't really like how he's become that 'fat, slapstick, brainless goofball'.
On the other hand, I think Murfy's personality in R3 does fits him.

Kinda random. I made a thing: http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/ ... 6o3lt4.png Pretty much what I thought that one scruffy-looking silhouette of Rayman would look like. If anyone remembers that.

On the subject of Globox, I do miss his little rain dance, it was rather cute, yet funny.

I want that to be his power in third UbiArt game. Gandalf Teensie could hive him that instead of fistsMaster wrote:On the subject of Globox, I do miss his little rain dance, it was rather cute, yet funny.
Of course the attack will have to be faster and have some changes.

Re: Rayman Legends
Hm, problem with Co-Op, either everyone has the same or a similar moveset, or you have each character having a specific ability, which means they're needed and controlled by AI.

Re: Rayman Legends
No. Globox had more changes than that. In R2 he's easy to scare, but has good intentions and wants to help Rayman in some way. In R3 he's stupid as hell... and a total coward, and god he's so whiny, to the point of being annoying; he made the whole R3 experience feel like taking a pregnant woman to the hospital. In RO he's so stupid that suddenly he doesn't care about anything and doesn't feel scared about anything...Haruka wrote:Globox is suppoused to be helpful and silly, not unhelpful and an idiot.THEdragon wrote:Yeah, I don't really like how they changed Globox either.
