While I really like Scotland as a place for vacation I felt too many places were completely taken over by tourism. It's kinda hard to enjoy something when every three fucking steps there's another store going SHORTBREAD! WOULD YOU LIKE SOME TOTALLY SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD? WHY DON'T YOU BUY SOME MORE FUCKING SHORTBREAD BECAUSE IT'S SCOTTISH? SORRY NO WE ONLY SELL SHORTBREAD, SO WHY DONT YOU HELP YOURSELF TO SOME TRULY SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD. SHORTBREAD!

Yes, I like shortbread. It's great. But please don't shove it in my face. You go to the middle of nowhere. Hours of nothing but trees. You find a small town. What's the first thing you see? Three stores on the same street advertising with shortbread.
