Re: Nintendo Network ID
I finished watching the awesome Direct. Games I am looking most for are DK Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World, Sonic Lost World (my most anticipated game for this year right now since Rayman Legends is out), Bravely Default is cool and I am glad Dual Audio got confirmed, Sonic is also in new Smash Brothers, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies (but damn, why digital only), and NEW KIRBY! Hell yeah

Hm, sounds pretty awesome, I'd best catch up on it later.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
You definitely should. You don't want to miss something like that. Although I do wonder will Phoenix Wright have Dual Audio or not. They did not mention it. Even if not, I do not mind it at all since I never considered Ace Attorney characters to be Japanese.

I do want the new Phoenix Wright at some point, this will be my first one if so, and I do love a lot of Capcoms work

I hate Capcom as a company but I can't resist their games.

I think me and Adsolution had discussed over Skype once that we both find them a good company that just makes (now) shit decisions, if they were to stop what they were doing, Capcom would still remain one of my favorites.OldClassicGamer wrote:I hate Capcom as a company but I can't resist their games.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
Guys... this may sound silly but... playing Wii games on the gamepad doesn't actually mean getting rid of the Wii Remote + Nunchuck.
It actually means that now you can use the screen of the gamepad instead of the TV, and that there's a sensor on top of the Gamepad (I didn't notice it) that will detect the Wii Remote's pointer. So... this update is just in case you don't want to play on the tv...
kind of a bummer... BUT HEY, Mario 3d World looks gorgeous!

Re: Nintendo Network ID
Now that sucks. Come on, I could understand for some games but Rayman Origins and NSMB Wii could be played with Gamepad.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
I figured as much, however, I was unaware that the Gamepad had a built in sensor bar for controllers. Now it makes a little more sense, though it's still a little weird having to use the gamepad as a screen, can't imagine myself playing the likes of Metroid Prime with such a feature. Still, it exists for those who asked, so I guess nothing lost or gained really.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
An update that makes the Wii Mode detect the Gamepad as a classic controller would be pretty cool. It would at least let me play games like Sonic Colors, since all of the buttons are the same. Same for Virtual Console games.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
Concurred, despite the fact that there are games aplenty that require use of the wiimote, there are those which'll do fine on the gamepad, like Sonic Colours, or Brawl.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
Fighting games are bad with Wiimote in my opinion.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
Sure, Mario Galaxy should be mandatory with the wii remote. But there are games that even support the GC Controller, and it would be so easy to make the Wii Mode detect the gamepad as a Classic controller.

Meh, I tend to play Brawl with mote and nunchuck, I'm not what you'd term "hardcore" about that game.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
Totally agreed, wii motes were just simply not made for those kind of games, which is why for games like Tatsunoko Vs Capcom I used a Gamecube controller.OldClassicGamer wrote:Fighting games are bad with Wiimote in my opinion.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
I play Brawl with just the Wiimote and I think it works fine. Thumb does start to hurt a bit if I play too long.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
I love Tatsunoko VS Capcom. Probably my favourite fighting game next to Smash Bros. I just wish for sequel but seeing how Tatsunoko and Capcom contract expired it probably wont happen. It is also shame we never got HD portRayfist wrote:Totally agreed, wii motes were just simply not made for those kind of games, which is why for games like Tatsunoko Vs Capcom I used a Gamecube controller.OldClassicGamer wrote:Fighting games are bad with Wiimote in my opinion.

As I've probably indicated, not a fighting enthusiast.
