Well they are most likely gonna use voices from games. It would be the most logical thing to do.

Indeed.
Wonder how the episodes themselves will play out, will there be story arcs, interconnected episodes? Or will they be shorts, a la Teen Titans GO?

I have a feeling that its tone will be similar to what the newest Sonic games are going towards. Pretty lighthearted and humoristic but when conflict happens and creates an arc, things get more serious.

Hm, methinks maybe the Adventure Time storytelling could work.

Yeah, ok.

Yeah, ok!

YEAH, OK!!!

GODDAMMIT SEGA! Why do you keep packing clunky details onto these characters?!

But, alas, this could still be good. Who knows? Maybe the redesigns will look better when they're not silhouetted? I'm also glad to hear that it's a comedy, bringing back the spirit of AoSTH, maybe? I also like that it looks to be set in South Island and not a boring realistic city! But man... Hulk Knuckles... I just...

All indications point to it being Knux, his tail is shaped like so, and his titular fist spikes are there too.
I wouldn't say Adventure Time is random per se, there's a great underlying continuity and references to events past and future. I like that episodes still feel retain their own feel though.

Hulk Knuckles is actually totally a good thing. More diverse body shapes is what the character cast has formerly been lacking.

i refer mostly to season 1 and 2, and even the current one has thrown in a odd episode here and there.

True, but I like that, sometimes having a one off adventure is nice.
Anyways, in honesty, I don't mind the Knux redesign, ever since the Sonicverse has received an influx of characters, he's lacked a hefty feel to match his supreme brawn, I'd like to have a look which more accurately conveys how much of a threat he can be in the right circumstances, let's not forget how much of an ass he was in Sonic 3.

We've merely seen a silhouette, we have no genuine idea of what he looks like yet, let's not jump to conclusions, all we can gather from this, is that he'll be more built and have a bulkier form.

As for voicing, I'd rather they stick with the games voices, Mike Pollock has been a fine balance between humorous, and diabolical.
I like how NC described it. AoS and SatAM are like two different homework projects: One was made by a kid who procrastinated and clearly rushed it in the last evening and the other is a well done project that meets all the requirement.

It's an original character, Bluckles.

I don't know guys... this is all looking a bit sketchy to me, Tails looks good and Amy looks alright, but the others... uh. I fear this will suck.

>judging a show based on silohuettes of character designs

A lot of fans seem to be doing this, and it's "GREEN EYES SANIK" all over again.
I actually find Knuckles' design so far to be great. It's funny if you think about his theme song from Sonic Adventure. But it also helps distinguish him from the rest of the cast.

Also, anyone else notice the more subtle changes on other characters?
Sonic appears to be wearing something on his torso (I think it's a sleeveless jacket), Amy looks the same, except she's no longer wearing a skirt, but seems to be wearing something more form fitting. And Tails also looks near identical to normal, but his gloves seem to be sharper around the wrists (which makes me think he's now wearing aviator gloves, which makes perfect sense and perfectly fits his regular design). The area behind his right cheek also looks more square than it normally would, making me think he's wearing something, like an aviator's hat (the angling just makes it look strange and debatable in silhouette form though).

I'm still reserving my full judgement, I just don't like the presented silohuettes personally.

I'm liking them in honesty, but let's see the full out designs.
