Re: Rayman 3
I still need to make a better scoring on that, I suck so much with the combos.

Meh, I don't think I'll be playing much on my laptop now, given the state it is in, I'll have to wait for now.

Already done it!!! I knew about the hall of fame and entered my score. I am near the bottom (unsurprisingly) i'll probably revisit some zones so I can increase my score and get all the cagesMaster wrote:Hm, will you be entering your score into our Hall of Fame then?

Re: Rayman 3
I've got my Rayman 3 save backed up now, so when the inevitable laptop transfer occurs, I can still go forward and improve, and with more power to do so.
Re: Rayman 3
My brother came to the point to play Rayman 3, he might as well complete the game, he seems to like it. We have watched all of the cinematics and he has played all of the minigames, it was quite fun, especially when Gonzo poked Globox in the eye with that damn stick.
Re: Rayman 3
I enterd my old score because I didn't find my new one. That's why I'm so near the bottom.tuxdude143 wrote:Already done it!!! I knew about the hall of fame and entered my score. I knew that my pc won't last for ever so I saved my save on my google drive. When I'll get a new pc I will just continue and post my new score.
Re: Rayman 3
I always did a backup of my PC R3 save file in different locations to make sure that my hours of effort wouldn't flush down in the toilet. I even did that for the Rayman 3 HD save file.
Re: Rayman 3
I'm going to be starting a new file on Rayman 3 soon to get a new score, so I can submit it to your guys version of the lums race!
Re: Rayman 3
You can back up PS3 save files? Do you need PS Plus or something for that option? This is new to me.Haruka wrote:I always did a backup of my PC R3 save file in different locations to make sure that my hours of effort wouldn't flush down in the toilet. I even did that for the Rayman 3 HD save file.
Re: Rayman 3
Well, that's the backup you do IF you want it to be stored in the cloud storage from Sony, but why paying for such service while I can do a local backup manually and for free? I just plugged a USB stick in, explored the save datas from Rayman 3 HD and copied everything to my computer. As easy as that.

Re: Rayman 3
I believe Sony themselves have a tutorial available for transferring saves to USB somewhere.
Re: Rayman 3
Good to know. I gotta try it once. Too bad I did not knew about this before I was replacing my 40GB HD with 320GB HD.Haruka wrote:Well, that's the backup you do IF you want it to be stored in the cloud storage from Sony, but why paying for such service while I can do a local backup manually and for free? Re: Rayman 3
Hm, all this talk of PS3 HDD's reminds me of a video showing a PS3 using an SSD, I can imagine that would speed a few things up quite a bit.
Re: Rayman 3
It isn't a need for me at least, my PS3 boots fine.

Re: Rayman 3
The PS3 is compatible with any SATA II/III 2,5'' Harddrive. SSDs are recommanded for the fat models because they prevent heat = prevent YLOD.Master wrote:Hm, all this talk of PS3 HDD's reminds me of a video showing a PS3 using an SSD, I can imagine that would speed a few things up quite a bit.
Re: Rayman 3
My PS3 has some fan issues more than 2 years. I hope it does not get YLOD.

Re: Rayman 3
Hm, I don't think my slim has any fan issues, it has the odd freeze, but I doubt that's because of the heat.
Re: Rayman 3
So apparently if you're in first look mode while the zombie chickens wants to kill you they just go away? That's something I did not know.

Re: Rayman 3
Are you serious? I never knew of this at all!
I'll try it out sometime and test for myself, interesting.
