Real life talking can be harder.ZeptoRay wrote:I'm not a native English speaker either, I probably suck at speaking it as a whole.Keane wrote: I have to think more about what I say in English because if I talk too long it all turns into gibberish. Re: Off Topic
If I start to ramble or tell a story I'll sometimes have to cut myself off and restart because nothing I say is understandable. I've become equally comfortable with expressing myself in English though.

Re: Off Topic
In my younger years, I had a habit of talking too much and not letting other members have their say, I think I've ridden myself of that hindrance.

That's adorable. owoRulez wrote:sometimes I want to say too much at once before all the thoughts escape me and I kinda go "and sometidie, heee othe, uh, I mean...", which is pretty embarassing.
If we're talking about weird speech stuff irl, I have the unfortunate combination of both a lisp and a stutter. Stutter brought on by social anxiety, and lisp brought on by my fucking awful teeth.
...I also talk like a chav. A chav with an extensive vocabulary, but a chav nontheless. It's because it's all I ever heard growing up. OTL

It was "ya little bollocks" actually. You're getting it mixed up with "Don't call me Len, ya little prick! I'm a bishop!" earlier on. The finer details are key to the subtle art of quoting Father Ted.sonicbrawler182 wrote:"YOU'LL ADDRESS ME BY MY PROPER TITLE YA LITTLE PRICK!!!"

Has been a while since I've watched the good father.

I've got all 25 episodes saved to my hard disk, so they're all just a few clicks away. I started watching before I was even capable of forming memories, and I never really stopped.

I used to watch it all of the time on RTÉ when they used to show it at about 10 o' clock (...or was it 9?...) on Monday nights. That was back when I was in primary school. Makes me feel a bit old. :I

I was so young that I can't remember much of my first viewing.

Hm, I'm assuming you speak Japanese as well, no?

I've dabbled in other languages, but have always stuggled, the D I got for French in GCSEs was the nail in the coffin.

Re: Off Topic
German was my first language, but since I haven't had any reason whatsoever to use it in the last twelve years, it's gone down the drain a bit.

Re: Off Topic
They tossed some basics in other languages at us in school but the only one that I picked up easily was French.
Re: Off Topic
My native tongue is French and I'm starting to lose it a bit, I keep forgetting some stuff when I write it but nothing to bad, just faults of inattention. I don't know any other languages than French and English, though, I know some words in various languages, mainly Japanese since I wanted to learn it some years ago but just gave up since I had no time for it eh.. So many languages I want to learn, so little time for that.
