CTTR was okay, it was ambitious and combined a lot of varied gameplay elements, but never really excelled at any one of them. I thought the clashing idea was a cool concept but it felt a bit rushed and primitive overall compared to what I initially expected. The character roster was also lacking severely compared to prior games in the franchise. You could also see the Radical effect starting to take place, mainly on the characters personalities. I really liked the soundtrack, some of the gags and I will always admire the overall concept of the game.

Personally I love CTTR. One of my favorite racing games I've played.

It was. It was rated E10 for "Cartoon Violence" and "Crude Humor"
In my opinion, Making E10 rating was pointless. E, T and M were enough.

I think E+10 is kinda dumb for its rating reasons.

I don't understand why they thought a weird racing spin-off was the logical next step in the series. A proper Crash Bandicoot 4 developed by Naughty Dog according to the typical sequel formula would have been a much better choice.

I'll give it a whirl, but I hate the waffling, it irks me, if I can summarise the points in there, I will, because that video...ugh, beating 'round the bush.

Right then, these are my notes:
Crash related surprise 2016 - Next Gen consoles, planned in 2011 when Next Gen stuff began. Next gen projects handed out, one being a Crash reboot or refresh, which would be a , mix of modernised and old style, revive his PS1 era flair, him being a fierce competitor.

Talk about Naughty Dog, team up with ND, ND disagreed with idea, 'cuz of Multiplatform, remained with Sony, they wanted to hand it back. Mention of the botched up Jak and Daxter 4.

War between Sony and Activision was result in lack of Crash in Playstation All Stars, Multiplat vs Exclusivity, differing philosophies, and of course, money.
If I'm honest, too much fangasming and obligated stances in there I wasn't very pleased to see.

I feel that if Naughty Dog was behind the platformer/racing mash up idea, it would have turned out as something great. Whilst I admit it is a weird concept, I did like the idea and think it could have worked under different circumstances. I feel that with this game Activision/Radical were slowly but surely plaguing the franchise with their own identity, turning it into their horrid idea of what Crash Bandicoot should be, which ultimately led to the Titans games and the companies + franchises downfall. On inquiring the IP, They really should have just went back to basics, including a Warp Room, Crystals, Gems etc. Retaining the feel of the classics, then slowly innovating the series whilst not straying too far from what made Crash Bandicoot so good in the first place. But sadly they turned the franchise to shit.

Also regarding that video, that's a lot of very interesting information, as much as I'd like to believe it all, I found a certain bit quite sketchy. He claims Activision were in talks with Naughty Dog about them handling a new Crash game; discussing it directly with ND employees and whatnot. Surely if Activision were too propose a business deal on that caliber, it would have went straight to Sony themselves. Sony have owned ND since 2001, which of course, was long before Activision acquired Crash.

A back to basics reboot would be ideal at this point, we are still yet to see a developer handle the franchise as good as Naughty Dog. Trying to turn the franchise into something almost unidentifiable from the best of the series in terms of both gameplay and aesthetics is dumb and hopefully if they do indeed attempt to bring Crash back, the same mistakes aren't made.

Hm, while a back to basics approach would be best, I wouldn't mind seeing Twinsanity's modified formula see some use in the future, it retained many familiar concepts while also modifying others to feel new and fresh, and I think it should be given the chance to flourish proper.

I always dreamed of a Crash Twinsanity HD remake, maybe with all the cut levels included.

I am a little scared sometimes about reboots, but Crash needs one. Mind Over Mutant sequel would not sell well.

Meh, even with all of the Titan nonsense, there's still plenty of salvaging that can be made without rebooting, heck, one could potentially handwave the Titans and carry on from Twinsanity. But, perhaps a reboot may work better in introducing a relatively dead franchise to an audience anew.

They should just NOT make a bad reboot like Pac-Man. Which reminds me, I should start soon campain "Buy Pac-Man Championship Edition DX on Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures release date"
I want to gather true Pac-Man fans and make Namco realize that we don't want this Ghostly Adventures garbage in video games. They should either completely kill it off or just keep it as a TV Show. Hopefully Pac-Man ATGA will stay as a failed reboot like Bomberman Act Zero and Sonic 06 so that Pac-Man can have a proper new game afterwards just how Bomberman and Sonic did and all events from 06 and Act Zero were ignored in future games.

Yeah...your campaign about Pac-Man does have a habit of popping up in conversation.

Why? It worked for Sonic. I mean I agree hating modern Sonic is retarded since it's the same character with same persona but just older, but when people bought Sonic 1 on Sonic 4 release date, Sega brought back Classic Sonic in Generations. The difference between Pac-Man and Sonic is however that unlike Sonic whose most of modern games are really good, this new Pac-Man is complete trash. I want to gather Pac-Man fans and start a campain to get rid of Ghostly Adventures universe at least in games. They should either cancel TV show and pretend Ghostly Adventures does not exist in future Pac-Man games, or keep TV Show but not bring that universe in games - keep them seperate. I want Namco to realize like Hudson and Sega did after Act Zero and Sonic 06.

By the way, Nina's voice actress sounds similar. I know she also did the final boss for Puyo Pop Fever (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL-i8bnjVyU), which was probably some of the only decent voice acting in that game, but I don't know her name.
