However, since there was no grammar to be mocked, it was simply the implication that "A lot happened".

The wording I found to be hilarious. It's so eloquent.Master wrote:I say, what was so compelling about what I said there in your sig that made it eligible for such a spot?
Its been 12 years and I still haven't passed Picture City. Eh. Its a pretty hard game for me, I suck at 2D platformers.Master wrote:Hm, don't worry, it took me ten years since I first got it before I managed to beat it.
Master wrote: As for that, it's an "Alot," Ad was using it to mock the usual error of saying "alot" instead of "a lot."
Oh, well now I get why.Adsolution wrote:Well, sort of.

Picture City I appreciate so much for its atmosphere and music but my first times playing trough it I was also trying to resist breaking everything in sight at the same time.ZeptoRay wrote:Its been 12 years and I still haven't passed Picture City. the dsi vers. is easier, except for skops, that fucktardZeptoRay wrote:For what?I already know how to beat Rayman 1 I just suck at timing what I do like when you slide and stuff so I just die.

The freaking pencil going up and down where you have to helicopter your way over them without being to touched was a nightmare when I was younger and I never was able to get farther than that, I need to find what part I'm talking about.Keane wrote:Picture City I appreciate so much for its atmosphere and music but my first times playing trough it I was also trying to resist breaking everything in sight at the same time.ZeptoRay wrote:Its been 12 years and I still haven't passed Picture City. The Cave of Skops is something one must experience before dying though. \o/ First time playing through it was just brilliant because of the great music and everything.
Not everyone got a DSi, I don't have one so I have to play on this Dosbox thing for PC.dartofthedavros wrote:the dsi vers. is easier, except for skops, that fucktardZeptoRay wrote:For what?I already know how to beat Rayman 1 I just suck at timing what I do like when you slide and stuff so I just die.

Yeah I think I know what you mean. As a kid though I only got as far as the Blue Mountains and then forgot to save. :/ZeptoRay wrote:The freaking pencil going up and down where you have to helicopter your way over them without being to touched was a nightmare when I was younger and I never was able to get farther than that, I need to find what part I'm talking about.
Yeah but the DSi version made Band Land really ugly as well as that the soundtrack is only half the size and it kind of completely ruined everything that made Picture City my favourite part of the game.dartofthedavros wrote:the dsi vers. is easier, except for skops, that fucktardZeptoRay wrote:For what?I already know how to beat Rayman 1 I just suck at timing what I do like when you slide and stuff so I just die.

No, no why would you use cheats, that ruins the experience of finishing the game.
I will when I have the time, school and family life have been hell lately. until then i'll casually play the DSi version.emshomar wrote:dartofthedavros wrote:I beat the PS1 version with cheats.Nah, nah, nah! Not in that way! Go back and play really Rayman 1 without cheats.

Are you referring to the second area in Pencil Pentathlon?ZeptoRay wrote:The freaking pencil going up and down where you have to helicopter your way over them without being to touched was a nightmare when I was younger and I never was able to get farther than that, I need to find what part I'm talking about.

I couldn't agree more. The atmospheres in Picture City and Band Land are so... there's hardly anything like them. An HD remake would do all the justice.Keane wrote:Picture City I appreciate so much for its atmosphere and music but my first times playing trough it I was also trying to resist breaking everything in sight at the same time.![]()

Here, I have attached something in my signature. I hope it's not too annoying!emshomar wrote:*sigh*ZeptoRay wrote:I have to play on this Dosbox thing for PC.
I guess I need to advertise even more.

It has music too. Since when does it not? The PC version is screwed up though since it plays any music from the zone randomly its a bit annoying and ruins it a bit.incognito wrote:Ya play rayman 1 PC with music ?

I said that too when I was looking like this:ZeptoRay wrote:Yes hello I have no idea what you're talking about it runs fine on my laptop and its enjoyable.
