Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
Neat drawings, all of you.
Focusing on GN's, like the way you've done Finn with his robot arm.

Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
Amazing art GN! Finn reminds me a bit of Edward Elric because of robot arm!
Zepto and Brad did cool too.

I, for one, really like emshomar's artistic vision.
Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
That's a nice drawing of Finn, GN.
Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
ooh, good drawings you all. I need to explore for topics more often, I stay in my viewed posts too much.

Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
I tend to just read those on Kotaku's Sunday Comics article.
Neat little comic, so what is this curious substance Ryan is putting upon himself?

Is it period blood?
Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
Yup, I've been doing these kinds of comics for about 4 years now.Adsolution wrote:Replicating the Sunday Comics style? Nice, I still read those every week.
That's for the reader to wonder about and for me to know.Master wrote:Neat little comic, so what is this curious substance Ryan is putting upon himself?
Woah, let's not jump to conclusions yet.Rulez wrote:Is it period blood?
I present another comic for the Halloween season. A little Far Side Inspired.

Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
How do you draw these things?
Hm, because of differing timetables, I spend more time in the library now with nothing to do, to that end, I just idly doodle in a sort of doodle book, nothing spectacular, seeing as I'm no artist, but yeah, it's a thing.

Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
Oh the one I showed was made in like a week. I mostly start from the bottom and work myself to the top.
Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
I love those filled, chaotic ones you draw sometime.
Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
Danke Keane! Those seem to be one of my specialties.
Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
Made this drawing of Bad Batter ( character from a game called OFF ), turned well um..yeah extremely bloody from playing with the Overlay layers I was not going to make it look like that at first.
Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
I made three comics over the weeks. Enjoy.

Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
Haha, reading those gives me such a good feeling of nostalgia. what in the world have I been doing lately? I feel like sitting in bed with some orange juice and reading weeks' worth of newspaper comics.
Talking about it in the Favourite Films topic made me feel like posting this: A year ago I felt like drawing my own interpretation of Shade from the novel series Silverwing. This has no relation to the show whatsoever, just for note.

I then decided to revisit this a year later, over the course of which has garnered me a bit of stylistic improvement:
(Apologies, I used my phone camera for this one)

I plan on creating a very short animated sequence using the guy in the near future.
I'll give the show credit for certainly creating some unique character designs, but they looked just a little too douchey and human for me. While mine isn't that unique an interpretation as far as cartoon bats go, I will take some inspiration from the show, perhaps by using that hair thing they have, or some form of it.

You made me want to draw a bat now.

I suck at bats.
Re: Non-Rayman Artworks
Thanks, Ad! I'm glad you like them!
Sorry to "bat" in this conversation, though I made two new comics since last time I posted in this topic.
