You get a Eevee as your starter in Pokemon XD for the Gamecube.

Always wondered why they picked XD for a title.
Yeah, I don't know much about Console Pokemon, but I remember reading about that on Bulbapedia.

I never was fussy for Eevee so it's not like I care too much.

Favorite Pokemon anyone? If people actually answer to this, I'll answer too. :fou:

Emerald, undoubtedly. The Hoenn region in general is just hands down my favorite, it was even my favorite plot-wise. A lot of people disliked Hoenn for having too much vast sea, but me, I loved it. The game had a rather Zelda Wind Waker feel to it, in a way, and the first moment I dived under the sea, I felt at home, it was so charming seeing this, and listening to the really calm music, it just felt so unreal for a GBA game for me, I hope to see it remade for 3DS, I really do.

Hm, the Hoenn series is one that I tried out, but ended getting burnt out on, I'll jump back into it when I have an opportunity to do so.
As it stands, my favourite in the series is HeartGold/SoulSilver, having two regions to explore and many omissions from the original Gen II redacted, meaning one can go to the Safari Zone and also capture MewTwo in Cerulean Cave, is definitely a huge plus.

Kanto > Hoenn > Jotho > Sinnoh

From the four generations I've played so far.

Hm, in terms of regions, hm? Seeing as HGSS and GSC contained both Kanto and Johto, I'm kinda confused.

Not sure what you were specifically asking.

Ah another Emerald fan eh? As I come near the end of my X adventure I ponder if this one could top Emerald especially given that I like both games for similar reasons. I do think it can be topped though because I do have my fair share of crits of the game, but only really by a remake of the same standards as HGSS.

Gen 3 is very much the "marmite" generation as there isn't too many fans with an in-between opinion on it.

I said it before but Rotom is my current favourite. I used to find it "eh" but the more I read about it the more I felt intrigued by such a Pokemon. Not to mention the thunderbolts it has on either side of it (normal form anyway) reminds me of Wallace's sideburns. :fou:

Meh, favourite Pokemon is 001 itself, Bulbasaur, I've always found it to be rather compelling for some bizarre reason.
Other than that, MewTwo definitely.

Yeah, Ambipom does look a little too odd for my tastes.

I think Ambipom looks pretty cool. I like most of the Gen 4 evolutions with the only real exception that comes to mind being LickyLicky although in it's favour Lickitung looked like crap.

Feraligatr is my favorite, water type plus a reptile, two of my favorite things together. :P Else in term of legendary its Lugia, it looks like a swan from my point of view.

I like Mismagius. It looks like Jake. :P However, I've grown a close attachment to Bunnelby already and I'm desperately looking for a shiny male. So I can name it Mo.

I am currently facing the Elite 4 as well as my fate to struggle during the battle with the water one. It's a revive spam at this rate.
