Good to see that the game seems to be fully playable so far.

Yes, it is. Raymanni even completed the game. He played Japanese version from original disc on same emulator.
emshomar wrote:*cough*until mr.stone*cough*
That's only on my computer and not a general problem. Raymanni finished that part without problem. Same with you.

Raymanni, myself and OCG played the game on emulator. Raymanni and myself were able to play it without problems. OCG had crashy problems. 1 out of 3 had problems: To 66,7% is the game playable. Of course it isn't a very trustful number because it is based only on 3 players. If maybe we had 100 PCs and we could play it on them all we could maybe have a better percentage.

You have that save file I sent you before? We should find bug testers. I am sure some people here would like to participate.

First we need to ask people do they want to be testers. If they say yes, than you can speedrun to Mr. Stone.
I don't see why would they say no since save file would be there and it does not take much time to beat Mr. Stone.

OK I'm at Mr. Stone's Peaks now. Tell me if I should create a save state just after the last shot or upload it now?

Create save file so others can be at boss battle and fight it and then we are opening bug testers thread so others can sign up and test it.

Adsolution wrote:He's being 'criticised' for his inability to appropriately enforce the rules, even on a community level. Sonicbrawler's double post was justified enough for it to be looked over, yet emshomar decided to take it upon himself to try something he's not technically qualified for, and then fail. Master told emshomar to leave that sort of thing to the mods because that's why they're mods; to put it one way, they're the least prone to screwing up, case in point.

A forum like this generally has enough moderators on them for no help to be needed, and some staff members also have complete control over users if they wish, so every situation is always under control; this is in stark contrast to real life. Depending on the situation however, law enforcement on a forum by regular members is fine, so long as they possess desirable enough qualities to potentially take on the role of being a good moderator anyway. If they really don't in the slightest, then they're basically just being hypocritical.
I guess, but I just see it as emshomar trying to change his bad record on the forums. He had good intentions, but he fucked up. Big fucking deal!

I wouldn't have an issue if Master hadn't said "Leave the moderating to us." emshomar did screw up, but that doesn't mean he can't try to help!
Adsolution wrote:A post like the one I'm replying to just means you're drunk. I find it amusing that you're accusing Master of being drunk with power, when he's probably one of the most humble people I have ever met in my life.
Er, how am I drunk with power exactly...? Also, Master is a good guy, but I thought that post was just a tad arrogant on his part.

Anyway, I find it amusing that mods always accuse emshomar of not following rules, but when he finally tries to, you criticize him for it.
Adsolution wrote:No, a proper analogy would be a kid taking it upon himself to shoot anyone they perceive as bad, with no forethought whatsoever.
I actually found that funny. :P But, anyways, it was just a misunderstanding on emshomar's part, and it seemed like he was only trying to help, which you are criticizing him for.

If it really had to have caused so much of a ruckus to the point where Master is accused of being "power-hungry", then maybe that double post should be deleted or something? I won't care myself, but if it stops this unnecessary arguing and name-calling, then it might as well be done.

Also, I'm not upset with emshomar either. Neither him or Master really need to be criticised over anything, and emshomar already apologized anyway. Both are swell guys, and the issue has been resolved. There is no need to argue about it any further, especially considering how long ago this happened.

More on topic, there is a decent length recording I have of Rayman Legends on Wii U that I captured before giving up on the PVR 2. I will mess around in Sony Vegas and see what kind of quality I get out of it.
And I won't post a link until it's processed this time, and won't double post. :P

Master wrote:I don't mind members advising others, I read Em's post as if it had a false air of authority, plus, Brawler already had justified his double posting prior, thus making Em's post unnecessary in the first place, if that makes me power hungry, then I apologise, it's just the way I saw it. But I can't say I appreciate how you've conveyed your point, I'm only human at the end of the day.
Sorry if I was a bit harsh. You seem like an awesome guy, but i just found the post you made a tad bit arrogant. It would have been better to phrase it as, perhaps, you were *being* power hungry, because I definitely don't think you're that way in general. We're all human and make mistakes, and that includes emshomar, myself, and everyone else on the forum as well (except maybe Rulez ;) ).

Very well, let's leave this be.
If I sounded arrogant, I apologise, it was not my intention, as Ad explained, it was merely to ensure that Em wouldn't give out the wrong advice, Sonicbrawler is a cool guy, but there are some volatile personalities who might have taken offence at the jumping the gun there.

However, that "drunken with power" statement was genuinely hurtful, I try to do a good job here, and I don't appreciate being accused of stuff like that. Take issue with my methods, yes, and make me a better mod, but remember that I'm human too, I can take offence to things also.

Aannyywaay...

OCG, file is up: https://mega.co.nz/#!rdIQXKCD!UfvcBngRP ... dAadMfIaNw
One need to reconfigurate the controller before start playing and you have to mount the european version of Rayman (I think it's included in the 7zip file). The save is in the cartidge stored and you can access Mr. Stone's Peak and fight against him. SaveState 1 takes you right after the last shot. SaveState 2 takes to to the end sign before the boss battle and SaveState 3 takes you to the last shot.

I'll try to be less of an asshole when I am angry about something. Sorry about that. You're a good guy, and I wasn't trying to insult your character, just the action you took.

Oh, I also just discovered that I also recorded test footage of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. I believe I used different recording settings in that one, and I believe it only went up to 720p, as I wanted to see how that looked raw. But I will see what Sony Vegas can do for that one too.

@Tech, It's fine, let's move on now.
Blimey do I screw up my writing under pressure, 'eesh, that's what I get for writing just before heading out.

@Em, so this test, I'm assuming is to determine whether or not OCG's freezing problem is isolated or a more significant problem, yes?

@Brawler, hm, some more capture tests? Here's hoping it turns out well!
