They seemed to have taken a bit of more wacky approach which I actually find quite enjoyable.

I guess I didn't think about it before but I got all hokey jokey with myself over the fact that on the first route there's a sign telling you to talk to everyone you see. I just sat there laughing at the idea of this kid just running up to every person he sees asking to talk to them.

Funny enough, this month it makes one year since I played PP:TTYD. It was a brilliant game, a super satisfatory sequel and officially my favourite Mario game and best Mario game I've played so far.

I also like a lot Paper Mario 1, but I honestly think that PM2 brings everything from the first game much more polished.

I myself can't really decide. I like both of them. Sometimes I prefer one sometime another. I know for sure my least favourite Mario RPG is Sticker Star.
