Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
That's a MUCH better review. Can anyone who owns the 3DS version tell me if it's worth the 40 bucks? Or if I should wait for a price drop?
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
I saw the gameplay and I would wait for price drop.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Hm, believe it or not, I think I might prefer the 3DS version of the final boss, still nowhere near as climatic sad it should be, but I prefer it for some odd reason.
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
I still wish final boss was not Eggman.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Why not? I like that Eggman has regained his major bad role, considering how he ended up being tossed aside by the true final boss, it's good to see him be the final conflict, the only issue I have is with said conflict itself.
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
I dunno. I just had much more satisfaction when I defeat a "bigger evil" in Sonic universe. I always see Eggman like a very funny and non-threatning character so I like having a good epic battle with him but then afterwards, I always enjoy defeating a "bigger evil". Before Lost World was released and before everything was leaked, I thought for sure that the final boss will be Deadly Six combined into some super form or something and that Sonic must transform into Super Sonic and defeat all of them. I was a bit disappointed that they were not final boss.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
To each their own, I guess, my preferences are for the ol' Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Alright. BTW, can anyone give me link to compare final Deadly Six battle? I heared they died in Wii U version but not in 3DS version.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
If the stuff I watched was anything to go by, it's more of a boss rush as opposed to one grand finale with the lot of 'em, like so:
Warning, plot details are in there, be careful!

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
is it just me or does the fat one get on annoy anyone else?

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
When I see him, he reminds me of Gluttony from FMA.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
I don't like Zomom. He's got very few funny moments, but he's more of an annoyance. I think the sandwich he holds is a better character than him.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
As cool as Sonic Lost Worlds looks, that seems to win the award for the most utterly disappointing final boss in a Sonic game, and I thought the Generations final boss was boring.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Hm, it's definitely lacking, but would I go as far to say it's the most disappointing? It does have some good competition from Sonic 4...
Regardless, yeah, surprisingly, despite the supposed gameplay difference, it does feel a lot like Colour's final boss, and even has the Egg firework after it's beaten.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic has never really had a fantastic final boss. I haven't seen the Lost World's final boss yet, but seeing your guy's recent comments, I'm guessing it's not that great. (No spoilers please)

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
I don't know, I liked the Sonic 3 final boss, it was definitely challenging, and worthy final boss material.

I don't necessarily mean they're bad, just anticlimactic.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Again, I must ask, how?
The Sonic 3 final boss occurs after a hefty gauntlet, the sky darkens, the music changes, and suddenly, Eggman/Robotnik returns in a new, difficult yet powerful machine, the scene is set, and the fight commences:

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
That was a good final boss. What I meant was, Sonic never really had a final boss that made me go "wow, now THAT was a final boss".
