I find it strange that even though 'phobia' in English refers to an irrational fear of something, it's used here in the context of extreme sensitivity. One of my friends has this as well, and as such he's always wearing sunglasses when outside. I can't even tolerate light inside the house, my lava lamp and my laptop screen ( on the lowest light settings ) is on the limit of what is tolerable for my eyes because they are pretty dim lights. I used to be putting some gel thing in my eyes back in April but I think Muse killed it with their light show because it didn't work anymore since the day after that lol. My aunt invited me and my mom to go see them, I didn't even knew who there were or anything at the time, but I decided "fuck it I never go out why not" and will never regret thinking that. 7 hours long of riding in car to get to Quebec City to leave the next morning for another 7 hours, completely worth it to see them and would totally do it again.
