Incognito, It's good to see your excited for the project but do take in mind that the game already has a very much planned out concept and Ad is pretty far into production.

The game, I'm pretty sure, already has a plot/story/whatever ( an outdated version is on the first page ). Plus, changing what the lums roles are in Rayman's world is a pretty bad idea. Its fun to see that you want to suggest ideas but maybe think about them a bit more before suggesting them?
incognito wrote:its just ideas in the suggestion box :mryellow:
Eh, how about suggesting some enemy or something of the kind instead of the story plot? :P Or well, something that would help the game be better, I think its better to wait for the website to be done before throwing anything at Ad, but its just me.

If anything like that would come into my mind, i'm sure it would not be about lums. I would rather clear things up first, a few examples:
1. The Great Protoon = the Heart of the World dilemma
2. Why did Tings only appear in the valley in Rayman 1, but now they appear in the Glade itself in RotD
3. What kinds of lums are in Rayman Origins/Legends and why do they have a different role + why are there no lums other than yellow, red/purple

And besides, i would never change the role of lums, perhaps discovering a sacred special color of lums would be the right solution if you're willing to stick to that idea.

But as others said above me, the game already has a plot.

@Rayrobi:

1. Details on this will be addressed in the story
2/3. Fairly unimportant things that don't really need to be explained here. Why were gems only in Rayman 3? Collectibles for the sake of being collectibles never usually relate to the story in any way; in Rayman 2, this was obviously different, and as such, there's no lack of basic consistency there.

Ok then. And however i do think they are separate, and that Electoons gravitate around only the Great Protoon, i'll accept whatever the story will give us.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark

Since it will actually be explained on the website as well and isn't a spoiler, I'll explain briefly:

The Protoon is like the 'battery' that powers the Heart of the World. They are separate, and in separate locations, but their powers are interconnected. The reason they're separate is because with the Protoon being stored in a remote, largely unknown location (the Valley, which is an island off the shore of the Glade itself) instead of being kept right where the Heart is, the Heart is completely safe from any kind of direct sabotage. Why this apparently is not the case in Rayman 2 is also explained.

The Protoon actually plays a very integral part to the ongoing story in ROTD.

The login info you said to write in the stresstest doesn't work. It says incorrect password or username. I tried multiple times.

I've clearly stated in my edited post (which I edited a while ago) to just go make a CryDev account and log in with that. Since Crytek's system of logging in is really fucking stupid, it will freak out if more than one person tries to log in with the same account.

I also tried to login with the test account and it did not login, because of above said problem. Just why the fuck does Crytek force us to log in. Someone doesn't even give a shit about what is crytek and just want to run the damn stresstest.

Ever since the defeat of Mister Dark, Rayman had noticed something wrong, as if he had forgotten something important, something unfinished. In an attempt to relax, he brushes it off, but that's a sure sign for disaster. One night, fate strikes and a bunch of Rayman's friends, go missing. Then it all comes to realization.

Mister Dark had created an evil clone of Rayman, so namely called Dark Rayman, to destroy Rayman for him. He figured that if he created a clone that thinks like Rayman, acts like Rayman, and has all Rayman's powers, and is in every way identical to Rayman, then Rayman couldn't win. But wouldn't that mean that it would be an endless fight? That's where Mister Dark cheated and placed a curse on Dark Rayman so that if he encounters his light side, the light side is instantly killed.

Rayman, swashing through the deep cream walkways of Candy Chateau, had no choice but to flee, for every move of Dark Rayman was of his own. With that in mind, Rayman realized that somewhere out there, his dark clone was hiding, gaining strength. His only hope was to act fast and save his kidnapped friends and rid the world of the world's most powerful hero's identically powerful evil clone.

Rayman

- The hero, the limbless freak in the scarf we all love.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Betilla the Fairy
- She was like a mother to Rayman in his childhood years, keeping him protected from harm. When it was time for Rayman the chosen one, to go up on a journey to put a stop to Mister Dark's villainy, she aided him wherever she could, creating the right spells that would grant Rayman amazing powers. Now she is the caretaker of the young'uns, as well as healer of those wounded in battle. She also has the power to speak with the spiritual forms, the unseen entities, the lumz of energy that make up our living beings, therefore providing to her the useful ability to communicate with the undead souls inside the Graveslaves (Dark Rayman's minions).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raven

- Another being, the only other being known to be the same species as Rayman, saves him from drowning in a frozen lake on Starlight Peak, where they encounter for the first time. She's lived by herself in the beautiful mountain range, amusing herself by painting beautiful pictures. She doesn't remember her origin.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Moskito

- Rayman's first close friend, and also the last friend you save, is found being held in a cage in the tallest tree of Glassdrop Grove. He helps you multiple times throughout your adventure. Most prominently, he flies you across the Penumbra Ocean, beyond which a shadow lies over all. He also acts as Rayman's wings in the final stage fight against Dark Rayman.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Moskette

- A stunning companion Moskito finds across the border. Moskito was told to go back to the Dream Forest after flying Rayman across the Border Ocean, but disobeys out of curiosity and falls in love with Moskette, an under-estimated singer who sings in a pub in Fort Night. Moskette also becomes Raven's aid as Moskito is to Rayman.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tarayzan
- A jungle-bound and nature-loving creature, similar in complexion to Rayman, but in a slightly more primitive state. But he doesn't lack the kindheartedness you'd find in any amazing human. He escaped capture and is found fighting against Dark Rayman's troops.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Joe
- Just "Joe", a simple name given to him by Tarayzan after he finds him lost in the jungle from a UFO crash landing in search of a new home way back before Mister Dark showed up. He also owns many shops across the land, a business that expanded after word got out that Rayman came home from defeating Mister Dark saying that his food tasted better than all the cherries and icing in Candy Chateau combined. Rayman has to rescue him at the Ice Volcano, where he is surrounded by a tribe of little critters planning to sacrifice him to the great Magmont, who prod him as he is suspended over the crater.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Musician
- Rayman befriended this hippy fellow back on his journey through the Blue Mountains. They are reunited when Rayman finds him playing his mandolin in a pub during "Fort Night." They recognize each other, and the Musician takes Rayman for a boat ride of knowledge.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Magician
The mysterious narrator who appears only where he needs to be. Unfortunately, the new reign of terror has caused him to be up day and night, strategizing battle tactics, formations and whatnots to fend off Dark Rayman's invasion. He rings up his cousin Andrew to help him. After his cousin takes the place of the strategist, he leads the fight, as both a commander and a skilled warrior. He was born an odd teensy with golden blond hair, and never quite fit in. Because of this, he usually likes to take the form of Rayman's species without remorse.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Andrew
- Cousin of the Magician, Andrew leaves his Foreign home to aid his nephew in fending off Dark Rayman's invasion. Unlike the Magician, Andrew has a strong British accent. He takes over for the Magician in the strategic planning field.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ly the Fairy

- Everyone had heard the legends, young and old. Everyone enjoyed them, meek and the bold. Ly was a legendary warrior with immense powers said to have been granted from Polokus himself. Rayman encounters her at first as a mere black blur trying to kill him in Mount Kollapso; she instinctively mistook Rayman for his evil clone. She had been on the move with a couple of quirky but useful companions.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Grand Vulture Rhook

- He is one of Polokus's watchers; he is in charge of enforcing the laws of time. Without Rhook, there would be nothing holding the dimensions together. He is located in the Temporal Palace, where he reveals Dark Rayman's location and then flies Rayman back to the present.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Globox
- Part of Ly's resistance group, Globox recognizes Rayman instantly but was too scared to say anything until Ly finds out for herself. His elemental powers come in handy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Clark
- Another part of Ly's resistance group, Clark is the rock, the stone, the stability that can blast brute force through the group like no other. He is first seen earlier in Mount Kollapso plowing through stone men (in a non-homosexual context. Though this speaks not one way or the other for his orientation.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Murfy
- Another part of Ly's resistance group, Murfy is at a first impression, a humerus smart-mouthed nerd who never shuts his mouth, but his small size, ability to fly incredibly fast, and his wise knowledge on almost every subject proves extremely useful. Rayman wouldn't have made it through the more confusing parts of his journey without him. He later receives the nickname "The Flying Encyclopedia."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lac Mac

- Of the same species of Globox, even though he is proportionately opposite when it comes to cholesterol. Lac Mac's language skills are very simplistic, but his intentions are pure. He, at a first glace appears to be a tall, scrawny, goofy creature, but is in actuality very strong and is able to bend metal with ease with a good heart. You meet him in Aeropolis and team up with him to save Flips from the Prison Ship.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flips

- A small ludiv - which is what her branch of the fairy species is named - is one of the creatures Rayman befriends when he was captured by Rigatoni"s circus. She's a valued companion since she was separated from her parents before she was captured, she gives an innocent appearance to the group, and she practices her magic constantly in hope to serve a great purpose one day. In Rayman 3 she can be seen as the manager of the Fairy Council when she opens a door with a spell, telling Rayman to "hurry." Now, Rayman and Lac Mac are teaming up to save her from the Prison Ship.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Betina

- Betina is the non-magical step-daughter of Betilla. While normally she would have been classified as a Nymph (Betilla's species), Betina was born without wings or a magical ability. Betina is the physical education and Aeropolian football coach. They were both captives in Rigatoni's circus as well. She didn't play a major role, but Betina gives Rayman a map of the town and it's surroundings.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cookie
- Cookie is the husband of Betina. He is an incredibly skilled chef and home-economics teacher at the Aeropolis elementary school. He is also good with cars.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sssssam
- Sssssam is also part of Ly's resistance group. Sssssam is a purple serpent who helps Rayman to cross big lakes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dark Rayman

The villain, the limbless freak's dark and evil clone with the smirk we all despise. He imprisoned many of Rayman's friends and formed a country of shadow in which none can leave and non dare enter, called the Darklands.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mister Dark
- The sorcerer, now deceased, that created Dark Rayman from all Rayman's worries, hates, and fears.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The "Great" Rigatoni
- Rigatoni was the former owner of the famous flying circus where Rayman, Lac Mac, Betina, Cookie and Flips were held captive.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Slavemaster Razorbeard
- Razorbeard was formerly in charge of training and looking after Rigatoni's circus pets and actors. Irritated with being ordered around day and night, he comes up with a devious plan and overthrows Rigatoni with the help of Lieutenant, his assistant. He then steals the Prison Ship and uses it as a fortress as he builds up a background army, completely separate from Dark Rayman's reign.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lieutenant "Luey," "Lunette"
- Razorbeard's assistant. He's a clumsy and short-falling robot, but he's the only helper Razorbeard has. Through time he works himself up to navigation commander.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Magmont
- Ruler of the Ice Volcano. He hides in the crater of the Volcano and enjoys a sacrificed meal every full moon. He is an anamorphic blob made of lava that is taken down to save Joe and to access to further lands.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monoculous
- The warden of Dark Rayman's prisoners and slaves. He guards the Prison Ship until it is liberated by Rayman (who fights him mighty bravely to say the least), then is encountered a second time in the Shadow Factory, the main headquarters of Dark Rayman's slaving industry.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Graveslaves
- Spirits and souls exhumed from the burial lake "The Crying Moor" by Dark Rayman and stuffed into battle suits, in promise of new life and paradise. These are his soldiers, his henchmen, his guards, and are in complete submission to him as their master. They are the main enemies Rayman will fight, and are subdivided into different classes. Some may be combined:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Graveslave Flankers
- The most commonly seen are these mid-ranged gunmen. They normally shoot single-shot rifles and do an average amount of damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Graveslave Hunters
- This branch of enemies hide and shoot Rayman invisibly from cover using relatively short-ranged weapons.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Graveslave Brutes
- These enemies attack too close to fire a useful ranged shot, and are best taken down with a close-range attack.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Graveslave Snipers
- From long range they shoot fast and precise. They are taken down by destroying their high-ground support.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Graveslave Demos
- They use bombs and missiles from a mid to far range to take you down.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Graveslave Pyros
- They throw fire at you with their flamethrowers at a mid to close range.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Consensual Deviants
- All these are enemies that are not following Dark Rayman, or may even be fighting him, but one thing's for sure: they're territorial and think you're the big bad cheese:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Piranhas

- These are Rayman's classic foes. They jump out of the water and try to snap their jaws shut on him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Livingstones
- Only truly found in the Valley, they come in two different forms: smart and stupid. The smart ones are shorter and pick on you as sneakily as possible. The stupid ones more or less wonder to you and try to attack you. They are easily scared.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Urchings
- They are prickly things with eyes that will poke Rayman if he gets too close. They come in a variety of sizes, locations and colours.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wrong Notes

- Only truly found in Music Mountain, these notes are the result of all the mistakes uneducated musicians have played. They move along the staffs and injure Rayman if he hears them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stone Men
- Only truly found in Mount Kollapso and once in the Ice Volcano, they are large and powerful limbless stone guard creatures with the ability to look frighteningly ominous, pick up boiling Magma rocks from the ground, and throw them at you in different ways, causing a large amount of damage to be dealt. They never die, but can be knocked down for a brief period of time.
Rayman travels through a large variety of landscapes, each with it's own theme, ranging from a strange volcano that is shrouded in ice and snow but under the ice there's boiling lava, to a tall forest, each leaf made of fragile glass.

The Dream Forest
- Rayman's home; a comforting jungle filled with good feelings and friendly folk... for the most part. This is also the hub in which Rayman can revisit any level he chooses, simply by going to places within his home that make him think of that specific place.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dream Forest Depths
- In the depths of the Dream Forest at night, the stars shine bright through the forest trees, creating beautiful and colourful patterns through the mist and on the ground.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gemstone Temple
- A small lost temple buried deep in the shrouded entanglement of the Dream Forest, is layered with puzzles, tricks, and traps.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windmill Hills
- After exiting Gemstone Temple, you find yourself leaving the thick undergrowth to a beautiful sunrise with an elevated view over rolling hills with a Mill on the top of each.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Music Mountain
- Music Mountain is the name for the stack of instruments and notes that create a thriving community of instruments and anything musical ever created. After you reach the wide open plains after Windmill Hills, you gradually see more and more music structures and pieces until you blast into the centre of it all through a giant clarinet, and eventually go above the clouds.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Ice Volcano
- Raining time! The clouds of music mountain are clouds for a reason. After a storm approaches, Rayman gets rained down into a water cave complex below. When he finds his way to the top, he needs to ascend the volcano's steap icy side while avoiding a flood. After he finds a cave in the mountain, he enters where he is shocked to see red hot boiling magma waiting for him on the inside of this frosty mountain. In the crater is the magma monster Magmont, who has a hot temper for sacrifice.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Starlight Peak
- Lava pouring down and mixing with the snow leads Rayman tumbling into an icy lake, who is saved by something, or rather someone he didn't even know could possibly exist.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Valley of Illusion
- Many trees both large and small, many trunks both wide and thin; this valley is riddled with mist, swamps, foliage, and illusions intended by nature to spellbind those who come near, for those who dare to cross over the mountains of the Outlands.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mount Kollapso
- With next to no support on the mountains base (which can be compared to an upside down triangle), this mountain could collapse any second. Hiding in the midst of all the action while surrounded by giant stone men are a resistance group... could the legends be true? They will all be familiar faces to the viewer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Billowing Dunes
- After a journey across the crumbling mountains, you are left on the edge of a desert. Sand dune formations blow and billow in the wind.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Canyon of the Lost
- A gorgeous orange canyon in the middle of the desert. Intricate and fascinating rock formations await as you descend deeper into the canyon. In the centre and widest crevasse is a small inhabited town also haunted by spirits which guide you along. The far-length side of the canyon opens up into a magnificent beach.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aeropolis
- A port town on the edge of the Glade of Dreams, home of previous friends Lac Mac, Cookie, Betina and Flips. Originally the great Rigatoni, a flying circus master, captured all of the above plus Rayman to become slaves and part of his act (patrolled by the mistreated Slavemaster Razorbeard). When all the friends were captured and met, they combined forces to escape Rigatoni's circus. In the present day, the old team is distressed over Dark Rayman's capture of their little fairy friend Flips. You and Lac Mac team up to save her. With Lac Mac's odd strength, he can bend the bars of Flips's jail cell.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Prison Ship
- An incomplete pirate ship of captivity floating in the waters of the Penumbra River (in connection to the Penumbra Ocean and Aeropolis's water-way) created by order of the Aeropolian mayor who is under control of Dark Rayman. Rayman and Lac Mac save Flips from the Prison Ship.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Glassdrop Grove
- Trees thousands of feet tall with leaves made of the most fragile shards of glass, Moskito awaits your rescue atop the tallest tree. Once rescued, he flies you across the ocean that enters the feared, dismal kingdom of Dark Rayman.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fort Night
- A small refugee village found near the banks of the Darklands. Dark Rayman hasn't found it yet due to the immensely thick foliage covering the place. Accompanied by Rayman's old friend, the Musician, he helps Rayman through the light river while playing joyfully gloomy music and telling about the legends of the hidden secret of Rayman's homeland, the Valley, part of the Archipelago named the Crystal Isles, and how the hidden power can make space and time your slave if one possesses the willpower. Enjoy a dark, firefly filled boat ride through the jungle Rayman!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Islandale
- The first island of the Crystal Isles visited in search of the secret of the Shrine of Myre. It is another place similar in complexion to The Valley.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Towering Timbers
- A very scattered island currently fending off enemies from the Darklands. You take command of a Pirate Ship and help fend off intruders.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Land of Unimportant Proportion
- On this island, no one was taught the rules of scale in comparison to size, as every artist should have been taught. It was a rule never applied and never understood. Children's' play toys might be incredibly large, and homes might be unbelievably small. However, thanks to the flying Vectorian Elves, the folk have adapted to resizing themselves to fit the needs or purpose of their creations. After locating the Secret of the land, Queen Vectoria dubs Rayman worthy of the Elves' power to be used whenever required, provided it's safe for the Elves.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Glaciation Bay
- Giant glaciers reside within the frozen cape of this island, which is approximately the shape of a kidney bean. Will Rayman have to explore rippling blizzards and blistering ice caves to find the secret? The answer is obvious.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture City
- Last but certainly not least, the final secret rests in Rayman's own island, the Valley. With Moskito by your side, you can cross the sea that separated the Dream Forest from Picture City instead of having to retrace the steps taken to defeat Mister Dark.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Shrine of Myre
- Once the five secrets are combined, a passage opens up to enter the Shrine of Myre, a fabled place worshiped by all those that seek answers, freedom, and knowledge.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Temporal Palace
- After unlocking the hidden fourth-dimensional door on the giant Sundial of the Shrine, you get transported through and into the fourth dimension to the Temporal Palace, the place that controls and records everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen in Rayman's native universe. In this dimension, you are nothing but an infinitely small being in a 4D universe. Through this dimension, it's your job to mend a certain broken clock to awaken the Grand Vulture Rhook, the guardian of time and space. He in turn will help you find out where exactly Dark Rayman is located.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Penumbra Ocean
- The border between the Glade along with the rest of the world, and the Darklands.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Crying Moor
- Rayman returns to the Darklands and once again moves through Fort Night, though this time continues further than before now that he knows where Dark Rayman is. This area consists a junction between the rivers of the Glade, where they meet as a giant lake. It is a burial lake for the dead, and is the source of Dark Rayman's army's life, and has been tainted by the spirits stolen that now inhabit the mechanical bodies of his army. The land, now confused, has a certain lure to it, and it seeks replacements to fill the empty bodies of the deceased. Once Rayman defeats Dark Rayman and ever since, they have called this place the Land of the Livid Dead, named after the betrayal of hopes and rewards promised by Dark Rayman in return for slavery.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Shadow Factory
- Little explanation is required. In short, it is the central place of imprisonment, where all the cages, cells, leashes, and everything related to slavery are constructed and enforced.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shutter Cave
- Once the Shadow Factory is liberated, Rayman escapes through the bowels of the prison, taking the underground exit. Because it is pitch black, Rayman must purchase a firefly from Joe, allowing him to use his fist as a lantern.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Into the Blaze
- Rayman is welcomed from the emerging of the underground by the raging war above. The General, Dark Rayman's most beastly assistant, pilots the giant war ship of Hyperborea. The ship is in the midst of destroying everything in its path, and villagers flee to safety, if there is a such thing. You must board the ship, defeat the General, destroy it, whilst saving an unexpected friendly foe.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darklands
- After an epic journey, Rayman is finally here, riding into the place on nothing but the debris of a life boat of the warship Hyperborea. This rocky land of destruction, flame, pillars, and charcoal is Rayman's final destination. Prepare to experience both breathtaking, horrible, and psychedelic events. Rayman arrives floating on a life boat from the war ship Hyperborea, through the misty, ashy waters.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Final Act
- Dark Rayman himself awaits. This level is split into four phases. Phase 1: a simple battle in a two-floor battle arena. Things get out of control when Raven flies in on Moskette throwing you a Golden Fist. You and Dark Rayman race towards it, but he beats you to it, leading into Phase 2: A hole is blasted through the wall via Golden Fist, and Dark Rayman chases you with a front-camera viewing angle while smashing golden shots at you from his flying platform, which eventually leads into an interlude: You reach the base of a tall spire with dark clouds surrounding it way high up. Dark Rayman shows that your friends are all trapped as miniatures inside his flying platform and ascends to the top of the pillar. All you have to do is climb higher, and higher, and higher, and higher until you reach above the clouds and face Dark Rayman. Phase 3 consists of you and him at a one-on-one fight against him, and he has the aid of a flying platform. You need to knock him off. As he quickly obliterates your pillar-top, Moskito flies in, who you helped escaped. Rayman hops on him and Phase four concludes with a final aerial battle in the thunderstorm.
