+ School was OK today. There's supposed to be this art and music thing tomorrow so I'm kinda interested to see what that is.

+/- I read 28 pages of Biology boredom and took a quiz and all that was literally no more then... 1% of the work. At least that 1% is finished.

- Mother saying I'd have friends by now if I "looked more appealing" Like how the fuck do you even do that? Am I supposed to put a smile on my face and stare at people? At least I haven't made myself an embarrassment of myself when someone's tried to talk to me so far.

- So after about six months of "You should attend a sporting school again" I decided that I probably should because I've still got those last few pounds that bother me and I'm not spending my days feeling too awful to do anything anymore. So I expect my mother to cheer up a little after that ^ but nope. Instead I get to hear how I shouldn't waste their money and instead go outside for my exercise and that she'd like to see me run a half marathon sometime soon. Something tells me that if I somehow manage to interest myself in running outside that she'll give me a rant about why I should attend a sporting school.

+ My addiction for answering online question lists is roaring.

+ I can listen to music in class now which helps me quite a bit.

It happens when you leave an opening ['quote] standing while removing a finalising ['/quote] and then pressing Preview. The forum will try to correct your incorrect quote chain and close the last quote automatically, sometimes horribly wrongly so, too.

You have a great attitude. And seriously, there will be plenty of ways to get some money to live off if you haven't found the job you want yet. Remember though that finding the job you want and finding a job you like are two different things - you may find great joy in something you haven't even begun to imagine yourself doing.

Bleh, Keane, that sounds awful. This place has made me realise there are lots of people who have a hard time with their parents... I hope you manage to find a way to get rid of that nagging you're experiencing. And I'm sure you'd be able to make great friends with people, if they're the right people. You don't want friends who like you because you "look appealing". Those are superficial friendships, 'queen bee'-attitude friendships. If I were to meet you in real life, I'm sure we could turn out to become friends.

If there's something I've learned from going to Uni and joining student groups, it's that there's a whole world of people out there who can be just 'your kind of people' - if you know where to look. Haven't found them yet? Keep looking!

- Started getting a blurry vision while in class earlier today so I had to leave.
- Then proceeded to almost get ran over by a car.
- Hurt my poor knee in the process of avoiding the car, I really need to get this knee x-ray checked.
- My vision is still blurry, I don't know why.
- I had pressure in my eyes right before that and was sneezing a lot. I get pressure in my eyes since over a year though.

+ Mom is finally being optimistic about me since yesterday and I am happy about that.

Ah well it doesn't last longer then two or three minutes usually. And I know. That's exactly the reason why I spend a majority of my time on the internet. And that's what I try to tell her but I can't get it into her head. I don't even feel unhappy or lonely or whatever. I'm fairly comfortable at school and get don't mind being left alone because I'm an awkward bugger in conversation anyway.

oof. Have you ever had your eyes get checked by someone recently? If that gel you mentioned isn't working anymore and something like this happens then I imagine this is something you may not be aware of.

That sounds like my tenth grade socials/religion teacher whom I and a few other students got fired. He spent a whole class lecturing the students on the evils of homosexuality, and even said that it's his duty as a teacher of religion to personally see to it that all fruity people in the class become straight by the end of the year. Even though I went to a Catholic school, according to Father Chris, this was completely out of line, as while they don't always encourage it, they accept people of all viewpoints and orientation, and teachers certainly aren't allowed to speak against it.

Well both are fun ^^ There's really not many people who have a specific talent that they can make a career out of. You have much more chance with digital art then with playing soccer so you're in luck.

I dunno where I'll end up. Musician is fun and I don't wanna say no to it just because it's unlikely but I should certainly consider a few other things. Music producer is interesting too.

+ I had a good talk with my mother. A refreshing change of tone since we've been kinda at each other lately.

- Brother was a massive dick to my parents and they really don't deserve that. He's currently living from their money in their house when they could easily kick him out, not a smart move. Completely criticised every bit about their personality, how he thinks my mother is worthless and basically admitted to using them for saving money. I don't always like them but that was just a whole bunch of insane nonsense he spat out. I mean it's not like our parents treat us bad. We live in a good house, go out to dinner, see movies, been on more vacations that someone else does in 30 years, receive help and even when they are mad they don't go overboard. The thing about my brother is that he doesn't seem to ever really appreciate someone. He'll be nice to you and then the next day he tells you you're a sad excuse for a human. Ironically it's him who's now been out of school for seven months and has been too lazy to do anything, resulting in failing to get the job he wanted and lacking any money now. Jesus. It's odd how brothers can be almost completely opposite from each other.
