I gave it a shot, this was the result:

Not bad, I think I need to refine it a little, but it seems it can work, with the proper usage.

Well, it looks like it kinda worked... kinda. still looks a like normal cola down the bottom, but it seems like it worked just fine at the top. Maybe I'll try it with some diet cola, next time I have a bottle.

back to the videos. I remember seeing this for the first time about 2 years ago, and it is still one of my favourite animated shorts of all time, great visuals, superb story, and the meaning behind it is most definitely intriguing, and a lot of people have different views on it, like any good work of art, some think its as simple as Christianity vs atheism, others go a little deeper and say its about corrupt Christians being hypocritical and using god as a tool. personally I think its more about fear of the unknown, but I'm just gonna let you watch it and decide for yourselves.

I believe I posted this in the Off Topic thread sometime ago, but here it is anyway.

What I really love about it though is a how minimalistic and non-contextual it is. Everyone can interpret it in their own way.

Chaplin's speech from The Great Dictator has to be one of the best scenes recorded ever. I'm not sure if music behind it is needed though. The speech speaks for itself really.

Despite seeming very comedic at first I actually think this is a brilliant video. Just those very subtle jabs that you won't really think about during the first time watching it. But just very thought provoking. It's no lie that we get told what creativity is and how we should express it.

Hm, I see we've bumped this thread back up again.
I never did give that insta-slush another shot, can't do it now, as it's not appropriate given the weather, though it's something I'd like to try again.

Yeah, you mentioned it earlier, however, the image I posted and took with my camera, proves that it can be done! Give it another shot sometime, OCG.

Ah, predictably clickbaity video title… I'm glad you posted it with that quote, that made me much more interested in watching it :)

There's that talk of unprecedented abundance… But isn't there talk of that every generation? And doesn't inequality always persist? And plentiful renewable energy is a nice aspiration, but we're not there yet, and getting there is not gonna be trivial by any means…

So if we're all shaping the future of AI, what about those of us who just want to tinker with normal computers? This xkcd comes to mind:

:hap:

And anyway, if we're all along for the ride, maybe I should keep wearing my mask, and/or invest in a pair of sunglasses with IR LEDs :hinhin:

All that assuming we don't destroy ourselves first… And on that note, here's another intriguing video:

That's a very interesting way of presenting information. Btw, Crash267, I think you forgot to add the full link of the YT video.

"Queen of the Nuclear Age"
It's a review of Queen Elizabeth's reign in the context of nuclear technology, basically starting with her opening Calder Hall in 1956
