Dark Lum Lord wrote:Eh, valid point, but I was only exaggerating for the sake of reinforcing my own point. I doubt I have genes to grow my hair that long. But hey, if the Magician could do it surely I can.
Actually, that was a reference to 2:00 here:
Though, my point isn't valid, because hair is something everybody has, and it can be manipulated in many different ways. Jim Morrison is a unique individual. Stand up for yourself, boy!
Oh. I thought you were going against my statement and calling me growing my hair to my ass far-fetched with that Jim Morrison statement, which I thought had been a far-fetched, satirical statement itself.
But, in reality, it was yet another reference that I missed.
Yeah, I overthink and fail to see the truth because of this, heh. Oh, and standing up for myself is something I fail to do often.

Dark Lum Lord wrote:Honestly though, the concept of parents forcing their children to get their hair cut is absolutely fucktarded. I don't force you to get your hair cut, now do I? It's my fucking hair, I'll grow it down to my fucking ass if I want to - which I would never do, but my point here is that parents are such cunts at times. My own hair was actually to my liking up until they decided to chop it all off.
Looks like someone's come down with a case of the first-world problems.

There are countries where it is totally normal to chop the hair off, it depends of the cultures.
While I agree I find it pretty fucking stupid when people say you don't have a right to complain about something because someone else has it worse ("Stop complaining, the kids in Africa have it worse!" OK thanks now piss off). Though DLL may be a little over dramatic.

Didn't you hear him? His parents are making him get a haircut, even though his hair was already to his liking! FUCKTARDED CUNTS!
Well, if parents are willing to disallow even a single harmless personal freedom like that (skimpy attire is understandable, but what's offensive about hair?) without giving insightful reasons as to why, then it goes to show they aren't even putting minimal effort in to nurturing your well-being. It's not the action itself, moreso what it represents.
I'm pretty solid on that mediocre parenting is the norm, some being more mediocre than others, and those who actually spend time relating to their children and helping them to understand why they do what they do are easily the minority. Ruling without reason, whether it's as harsh as putting your hands on the stove or as light as forcing a haircut, instantly leaves me with little respect for them as a parent.
Yes, I can get dramatic but that's only because I keep all of my emotions and other such bullshit bottled up inside of me until I can't help but explode. And that usually happens on the Internet, considering the fact that I'm far too afraid to let it out in real life, in either environment nobody's going to give a shit anyways since they'll set it aside as nothing more than petty angst - which it mostly is, but that's beside the point. And yes, those are first world problems, but me letting out my feelings and opinions does not grant anyone the title of completely ignoring my point and labeling it as typical white, first world teenager problems and doing so with an obvious thin layered disguise hiding a pretentious attitude.
Surely everyone's experienced anger or irritability unless they're an emotional zombie, so the snide comments were unnecessary and more than likely hypocritical - I'm assuming, once again, that all of you had experienced rage. Then again, it's surprising me that I'm saying this since I'm typically the one rooting for snide comments, but I guess that reassures the fact that I'm a bit narcissistic.
Anyways, I tend to lash out in anger every once in awhile after my stress piles up and the bottle's gone full. My parents aren't exactly the greatest in the world, what with the fact that they're clipping my wings by letting my have almost no freedom whatsoever and at the same time they aren't giving me enough attention since they leave me all alone in my room all the time and whenever they do they're typically just giving me crap for no reason whatsoever.
TL;DR - moar shit
Edit: Adding on to that, the point is that I don't think it's fair to stereotype every single adolescent as whiny little bitch whenever they're past their breaking point, since we all have breaking points and baaaawwwww moments. Even if the stereotyping is only for the shits 'n' giggles it still gets old. I only seem like a gigantic whiny bitch on here solely due to the fact that the Internet is where I go to let out my shit once in awhile, but in "real life" I rarely complain. Besides, letting out shit is fart healthier than always keeping it inside.
I don't really like to berate someone for sharing 'first-world problems' so much - I don't even like calling them that - as ultimately, they're all things that we aren't happy with in the end. Yes, there is a such thing as a better parent, and yes, I do think it's reasonable to complain seeing absolutely anyone is legally allowed to become a parent, no matter how absolutely terrible they are at it, and you, without either incredible luck or baffling courage (which is rarely present in a dysfunctional family anyway), have no way out of it.

Was that intentional? Because that's really funny.
