My computer didn't lag too badly in that room.. :?

And in the slaughterhouses with those 4 alphas, I just hit a disk against the wall, roll out the door, and then when they go to check it out, I just hit them all one by one in the air tanks with the disks. Easily taken care of... XD That area used to frustrate me though.

By the way, for those of you who don't know yet: I discovered what Michel is working on!

Look in the forums...
More like 10 months ago... :P
The Rayman 4 stuff was leaked in July '04.
But I know what Darkam said, but can you always trust UbiSoft? It took them several months to make Rayman forums on the Ubi forums and I doubt they even exist anymore. I seriously doubt R4 could come next year (but it's possible) and even if it does, it'll just get slaughtered by all the better games.
Rayman 4 is waaaaay behind. If they don't have online mode, I can see poor success making this their last Rayman game.

People would rather play Ratchet & Clank, Gran Turismo, Halo, Doom, Half Life, Burnout, Madden NFL, tons of other stuff than Rayman. Out of all these games, only Gran Turismo isn't online yet.

But anyways, uhhh... what did you find out about Michel Ancel?

Listen, peeps, drop the dream! Ubisoft is as reliable as a one legged chair! (ok, I know but who cares!) How long did it take them to get their ass into gear to sort out the so called forums??? Why is it the admin doesn't do anything and is basically an asswipe???
look, R4 is properly 6 feet under!
Dead
Now shut up about it k? No wonder I lost an interest in Rayman :?

I keep having to tell people this:

The web-based section of UbiSoft has nothing to do with the people who make the game!!

They may be lazy, but the people who make the game aren't, and they were the ones who told Darkam what to say.

That's actually what I meant, lol. It's a long time ago I played that game, no wonder... but anyway, in Halo I've had the same kind of lag in single player sometimes, and in small maps in multiplayer. It really affects my skill in those levels, even though I can still get a reasonable position most of the time. I wonder what can be the problem with my computer. It seems to have enough memory, and processor should be fine... and I don't know if it can be my video card, but a Radeon 9600 seems fine to me. :?

Ok... Cool.

Could I have a few moree suggestions about the site, please?

I would especially like to replace the blocks of grey with 50% alpha blended backgrounds... Got any ideas for what the backgrounds could be?

Why not a textured background that fades grey/white/cloudy?

Looks like we were wrong about Rayman 4 appearing at E3 2005. It was kind of obvious. Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, King Kong... UbiSoft had better projects to show at the convention. And if Rayman 4 was there, they'd just show a lowsy tech demo to get people to stop complaining.

King Kong and Ghost Recon 3 come at the end of this year. They're probably doing something with Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six, and well, I really don't think Rayman will show up again real soon.

When has a Rayman game ever come out on time?

I mean, it took them 4 years to make Rayman 3! It would take at least 4 more to make Rayman 4, and if the development team is busy with other projects, possibly later! I wouldn't expect seeing Rayman 4 until 2007. Even if Darkam said it'd come out before 2007, I don't trust'em. They just keep delaying it, and making their fans anticipate the release date, giving them a few small sneak peeks to keep them going, and then they release it a lot later.

I just hope Rayman 4 isn't disappointing. It better come out before I stop caring at all. I care only a small bit at the moment. Ok, I'm getting bored now.

Well, the thing that took all of the time up with the past games was remaking the game engine from scratch.

This time, I think they'll only have to modify it - They may have allready finished. Of course I could be completely wrong, but I reckon that this is why they've promised a before-2007 release.

I mean - They've never missed a release date for Rayman before ;).

The release dates themselves were just very late.

Did Rayman 3 come on time? I'm pretty surprised on that.

But I disagree with you. Remember how long it took to get RaymanZone up and running? Remember when they said it hopefully would be back at the end of the week? Remember how UbiRazz was always inactive?

It seems unfailably certain that Rayman 4 won't come at the exact time.

Game producing is a lot more important than managing forums. It's all about money in this world after all. Which means, it gives no indication they won't have R4 finished before 2007.

But it gives an impression.

Managing a forum with say 450,000 members is still an important job. If people judge by UbiSoft's lack of responsability, then they may decide to think twice before expecting Rayman 4 to come on time.
