- During dinner we entered this talk about love and whatnot and I decided to just be quiet but eventually when my mother started talking to me it kinda started to piss me off and I figured I might as well just tell her that I entered a long distance thingy and I probably shouldn't have. All she did was ask me where Zepto came from which made her immediately decide that it was a waste of time and I "shouldn't feel bad about dumping her for a real girl". :boon: Father didn't even give a shit and my brother now has a new topic to mock me about. And they wonder why I never share anything with them.

I'm sorry to hear that. :|

I doubt I will even tell my parents, my mom would ask me 400 questions a day, my dad would laugh at me and use it against me. My bro wouldn't give a crap though.

- I'm tired and its too early to be tired.

It just begs me to question: What will we be like when it's our turn to be parents? I have no doubt that many people will turn into shitty assholes like many of our parents are, but I sincerely hope that the enlightenment of the Internet creates a better, more intuitive, more understood world among parents and their children. Kids are smarter now than they used to be, and parents often take their 'life experience' for granted; "respecting your elders" is something I began to understand roughly a year or two ago, I started to feel as if I'd begun to understand the world better than those who were younger than me. But no, I quickly threw that notion aside, because I'm simply garnering a new viewpoint on life as my mindset and personality changes over time. If you practice something for a while, you gain experience. If all you've done is expect respect to come through your experience, then all you've done is become experienced at being a shitty asshole.

Well I don't think of my parents like that. They can be very kind people and have in the past shown that they care about me and want me to be happy but the problem is that they have a certain mindset that just won't change. According to them the world is one big group of people who can't wait to be my friends and It's me who's rejecting them. The constant reminding of how I should be happy in public and how it's my fault that I don't know anyone around here (I actually got mad about it yesterday and they just told me I was having a mood swing. Because it wouldn't be possible that maybe I had a point). When I try to argue I'm just told that I'm pessimistic and that "If I changed my attitude" I'd have this Utopian girlfriend (And I do :3) and a shit ton of friends in the area. Then a bunch of a shit about how I don't look attractive and don't care about myself and I don't fucking know.

And in the end it's not even those fights that bother me, but the fact that they've made it so I don't feel comfortable being myself around them. I wouldn't ever share my interests with them, play music around them or bring up certain topics because I know that it's only going to be laughed at and called weird or whatever.

I certainly hope so. If I am to ever have children I'd want them to be able to share their interests and thoughts even if they don't apply to my interests and thoughts.

Yeah I was expecting to be questioned by my mother but she really doesn't seem to care. I actually hope she just forgets because I don't feel like answering anything after this now.

Of course, I'm just moreso referring to particular parts of who they are. It seems to me that while they may often be kind in a general sense and may have good intentions, they still don't fully respect your abilities or your opinions, which is them not putting in the effort. You seem like a fully capable person to me.

This right here is again my main problem with parenting; the ground notion of a family itself is that it should be the exact opposite of how you describe this situation here, and that, to me, the biggest problem of all.

Oh, yeah, I get viewed as a kid with no sense of anything too often. Of course I'm young and there's a million things I haven't learned yet but I'm starting to feel like I'm belittled constantly.

It's really something that bothers me, but attempting to talk about it is pointless.

But meh. Lately things have been much too good to let them get to me. Still though, it does give me a bad vibe when something like that happens. The fact that their not even interested enough to ask for a name is a bit sad.

I already get asked personal questions by my dad almost everyday and I just don't want to answer them. I don't want to imagine what he would do if I told him. :|

- My vision is acting up again, my left eye has gone completely dark and my right eye has extreme tunnel vision; my mind is trying to fill in the blindspots (vast majority of my vision at the moment) with strange hallucinogenic shapes and colours, and it's causing my eyeballs to ache; closing my eyes obviously doesn't make that crap go away. It's been this way for two hours now, it better be gone by the time I wake up in the morning. I can't even really read what I'm writing right now, nor what anybody else has written. I'll respond to anything that needs responding to (if there is anything) tomorrow.

This probably won't be any consolation at all and that truely does sound terrible, but that is some pretty amazing typing considering you couldn't see what you were doing

I can only repeat Electoon's sentiment, hopefully it does subside as it does sound truly horrible.

- Timetabling changes
- Test and homework to hand
- I don't want today to happen, I want to skip it
+ I swear this weekend is the only thing that is driving me forward at the moment

I haven't posted anything in a while, and I get back to hear this D: I hope you're alright dude, it sounds pretty serious.

Ehh, I got problems with my eyes since like a year now, I've been here for only about 4 months. RPC has nothing to do with it. Plus its going better now for me. Lights are still painful though.

That sounds really bad Ad, hopefully it goes away soon. D:
