Re: Rayman M-Arena
GameCube version was the best for me.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
While i had a lot of fun with Rayman Arena's multiplayer, i gotta say Rayman M is better overall. Why i think that is because Rayman M had more modes ( 6 normal and 1 multiplayer exclusive ), and they were actually more fun than the ones in Arena, the game modes there sometimes becomes boring, the only thing which is better in Arena is the graphics ( at least in my opinion )
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Is there a record thread for rayman M scores ?

Does anyone think it'd be a good for me to start a Rayman M lap-times thread? Or do you guys already have something like that

Re: Rayman M-Arena
PLEASE forgive my ignorance; I haven't had any contact with the game in ages.
But since I haven't found any evidence of Rayman Rush anywhere on the internet, and no website or person so far could give me a straight answer to this question, are Rayman Arena and Rayman Rush the same thing?

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Really? Maybe you've just been unlucky with your searches.
Rush is basically a stripped down version of Arena/M for the PS1. If I recall correctly, it actually came out first, and then Arena/M were released, kicking it up a notch.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Adsolution is correct, Rayman Rush is basically the first version of M/Arena. From what I know, Rayman M/Arena are pretty much the same just they were named differently depending on what country it was released.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Well, kinda, the GCN and Xbox versions of Rayman Arena have some significant differences with Rayman M/Arena on PC and PS2

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Thanks guys. So Rush is basically the original version. Is it just being the American version that gives it a different title than Arena?
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Huh.. Ray Rush is just the ps1 v of M Arena came out first but the real v is M

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Rush seems to be the original, but it's extremely watered down compared to its younger counterparts.MisterDark'sFanClub wrote:Thanks guys. So Rush is basically the original version. Is it just being the American version that gives it a different title than Arena?
M is the one we Europeans got on the PS2 and PC.
Arena is the same as the Rayman M on the PS2 and PC, but is different on the GameCube and Xbox.
Does that help?
Re: Rayman M-Arena
But Rush was made after M/Arena. How is it original version?

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Hm, I was going off what was said previously, that Rush was released before M, but quick search shows the inverse. In which case:
Rush is an extremely watered down version compared to its counterparts.
M is the one we Europeans got on the PS2 and PC.
Arena is the same as the Rayman M on the PS2 and PC, but is different on the GameCube and Xbox.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
About Rayman Rush - 'The game was released 4 months after Rayman M.'
Wow that's weird... No idea why they did that, and jumped back a console? Seems odd to me..

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Seems more as a way to cover more ground, seeing as the PS1 was probably still rather popular back in those days.
