Yeah! 3DS Needs exclusive Rayman game that is not just a port of console title.Bradandez wrote:More like Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Re: Future Rayman games
I'll be honest, the Rayman series, at least, the main series, shouldn't really go exclusive, they tried it with Legends, and look at the mess that's been left with. One thing I've always loved about the series, and indeed, one of the ways I've been able to maintain my following of the series, is due to its availability, and I'd hate to miss out as a result.

Perhaps then 3DS version of Rayman game should be it's own like DS did with Rabbids?Master wrote:I'll be honest, the Rayman series, at least, the main series, shouldn't really go exclusive, they tried it with Legends, and look at the mess that's been left with. I'd rather it be something self contained, than be an addition to the main series.
The aspects of a 3DS and the portability aspect does give some areas of experimentation.

But this game doesn't have to be part of the main series. Just a portable game for the 3DS.Master wrote:I'll be honest, the Rayman series, at least, the main series, shouldn't really go exclusive, they tried it with Legends, and look at the mess that's been left with. That'd be nice. Something like Origns/Legends like I said but with new mechanics.Master wrote:I'd rather it be something self contained, than be an addition to the main series.

They're cool and all, but 2 reasons:rolesfamily wrote:No?Bradandez wrote:No.rolesfamily wrote:I think we're all in agreement when I say that the Robo-pirates should 'strike back'.Fair enough man, didn't you like them? ;o
1) We already had them in the Rayman 2 3DS port.
2) I'd like a new villain for every new Rayman game.
Re: Future Rayman games
I wouldn't mind if all villains return in one of the future Rayman games and try to defeat him together as a team.
Re: Future Rayman games
That would be a nice plot, OCG.

I've envisioned that in my mind before, but part of me...doesn't like the idea surprisingly, I just can't envision the likes of Mr. Dark, Razor and Andre working today, perhaps Razor and Andre, but I doubt Mr. Dark.

Re: Future Rayman games
I still think having a Rayman game built around the 3DS would be nice. Maybe use the touch screen? Something like that.

Re: Future Rayman games
There is some potential for unique gameplay given the 3DS' capabilities, such as the tilt sensors and ol' touchscreen, but I'm not really sure how it could be done.
Re: Future Rayman games
Considering I dislike all these gimmicks and I wished Kid Icarus Uprising had different controlls (but I still loved game), I don't think I would like to see Rayman game with main gameplay focusing on touchscreen and tilt sensors

Re: Future Rayman games
I think expanding the Rayman brand to be as versatile as Sonic and Mario in other fields may be nice, and the 3DS could offer some nice gameplay options for a spin off.
Re: Future Rayman games
I just wanted a Rayman game built around the 3DS because the lack of RL on the system. heh

Re: Future Rayman games
Hehe, I see. Though as I said before, the 3DS could easily have a few unique games to itself, like how the GBA had its own R3 and RRR.
