Yeah and you see? This happens when you don't listen to us. Ad pointed it out perfectly that this is grammaticly incorrect, and instead of trying to avoid not to do that in the future, you continue doing it, which causes two things:
- Others who don't know english that much or just think it is cool start using the incorrect form,
AND/OR
- You annoy me to hell, and essentially, confuse me and a lot of other people, in case at first i couldn't understand what you were saying, only after reading it twice more.
I understand that you pronounce would've or would have like you are saying would of, but for fuck's sake, it is PRONOUNCIATION! And i can't even tell how you pronounce have like OF!

Just an example: A frenchmen writes an O instead of Eau ( the french word for water ), because they pronounce Eau like O; it is not only incorrect but it confuses people, they don't know what the heck did he mean by O. ( this is just an example to confirm my point, it was the first thing that came to my mind )

So please don't do it, especially if we ask you politely!

-I merely explained that it's a habit of mine that I have tried to kick, but it's kind of stuck. I never try to claim I am right in saying it, and I don't try to annoy people with it. It's not even that frequent, as I don't use the phrase that frequently, and I don't make the mistake 100% of the time.
