I think they did make that change.
Anyways, one thing I just CAN'T get completed is passing the Knaaren in the 1st part of DOTK. For an alternative way, I tried to make that door open then get the Knaaren to the water then jump over the Shock Rocket can and then I got past the Knaaren but then the Lockjaw ran out when I was at the gong, and of course I tried the original way that MandM81 did but that didn't work. So right now my total score for the world remains at 91709.

Interesting, what platform is displayed?

It is pretty odd knowing that the HOF in the PS3 is automatic.

Xbox is displayed when entering the code. I don't know whether if this is because it generates the Xbox versions codes, or whether Xbox is used as a placeholder. If it is the latter, it would be possible to allow HD users to enter the code. At the moment, I'm going to keep this method secret to most people as it is impossible at present to determine whether someone used the HD versions (with the scoring changes) or the actual Xbox version to obtain the score.

HD users should never be able to enter their score into the non-HD HoF. That's why the HD version has an automated Hall of Fame.

The HD version lacks the 100.000-barrier, which lets HD-players score a lot more points in every level that has been maxed out in the non-HD version. More importantly, people who play the HD version have access to an unlimited amount of points via the snowboard-trick. While it would be good to know HOW the method works I'm really not that certain about how to handle this. Revealing it would obviously open another window for cheaters to come in with a non-suspicious score.

I really wonder why UbiSoft didn't completely take the codes out of the HD version in the first place -_-

I don't know why UbiSoft didn't remove the codes, it certainly seems odd. For the moment I won't tell anyone how it's done, because it's too risky. It would be nice to allow new Rayman players with the HD version onto the HoF though, but at the moment that doesn't seem possible.

(Also, didn't they fix the snowboard trick on the HD version? The highest score is in the 800,000's.)

They did? I have no idea, I never played the HD version. Still, it would allow for an unfair advantage if people could enter their HD codes into the rpc hall of fame. Just imagine how many points can be achieved in CF, BOM, LOTLD, DOTK, SBTC, HH and TOTL.

That is 7 out of 9 levels, which makes for an insane points advantage. Also, considering that, I'm really surprised the highest score is only in the 800.000s O_O

My PS3 score is closer to the 600k than my original PC score, and this in my first walkthrough of the PS3 version, which surprised me. I must be in 10th place or something like that.

I'm going to look into a way to prevent these scores from being entered in the Hall of Fame, but if they're the same as Xbox codes I'm afraid there's nothing we can do, save for manually moderating the Hall of Fame of course.

That's pretty cool that it's separated into top players from countries. It must be cool to be able to say you're the best in the country at Rayman 3 :P

Yeah, I know Rayfist has relished that honour in the states.
Unfortunately for we Brits, we'd have to best the noble Xenon, which is a tall order indeed.

You're British? I didn't know that! Yeah I don't think I can top that! I'd be happy if I hit 300k!

111.551 in CF
870.000 broken :)

i'll be shooting for 880k, but that's obviously going to be a long way. first off, i'll be picking up a few hundred points in TOTL i recently found, then i'll try to announce a new maximum score in CF (if nobody beats me to it, that is). afterwards, i'll finally revisit FC and try to make the best out of it.

considering the amazing development this game took in the past few weeks, i'm surprised noone really seems to care. WHERE'S THE HYPE, RPC? :D

I'm sure you can do that if you just try! you really should give it a shot, you'll soon see your score increases a lot fasten that you'd ever expect!

as for the wiki, i'll happily contribute to the completion as long as it doesn't affect the competition. i did provide the current maximum scores and i'll continue to do so as soon as we find them. i'm not really into the wiki that much though and looking and the site's code mostly confuses me, so i'd really appreciate it someone else could take on that task?
