What about the GOG version? I don't see any Ubi.ini anywhere, and even searching for it in all files and folders doesn't work...emshomar wrote:Simple, you basically just go to %WinDir%\UbiSoft and run Ubi.ini with administration rights. You look under the sextion Rayman 3 Resolution or something like that and change it to 1920x1080x32 or that kind of resolution you want. Maybe I should take a few hours and write a program that changes this section automatically with TnL fix as an option.Rayman fan2000 wrote:How do I play the PC version with such a big resolution...OldClassicGamer wrote:Minor? You are unable to advance past "Hoodlum Headquaters" if you replay a level without finishing the entire game.
Many people had this horrible glitch. I suggest nobody to buy HD version. If someone wants HD with much better graphics too, PC version with 1920x1080 trick is best way.

Re: Rayman 3
Did you try searching for it in the appdata area?

Re: Rayman 3
I used the search option that searches in every single area of the computer. Still can't find it.Master wrote:Did you try searching for it in the appdata area?
Also, now it feels like i'm constantly playing the game at half the FPS it should be playing at, no matter where i am in the game. Please help!
EDIT: The game isn't smooth at all, please tell me why. I can't stand playing this game at such a framerate. It's like 30FPS even though its 60FPS on consoles.

You sure it isn't in C:\Windows\Ubisoft?

It's because it is hidden probably. Enable hidden files and folders

In the folder that you told me...RibShark wrote:Out of interest, where?
By the way, I fixed Rayman 3. I used the widescreen resolution method and then I found out that my monitor was at like 24hz refresh rate, so I put it up to 30 and turned on vertical sync for Rayman 3 in the nvidia control panel.
Re: Rayman 3
Glad you got it fixed.

Re: Rayman 3
There is still one problem, however. The game lags most of the time, like the title screen or the level in clearleaf forest that's right before the one where you fight the boss with the 2 giant leg things...That's how far i've got, at least. Is it because of the widescreen resolution trick?OldClassicGamer wrote:Glad you got it fixed.
Re: Rayman 3
Turn vsync off and try playing without widescreen hack.
See if it worked.

Re: Rayman 3
Well, it's still completely smooth without vsync. Should I try the widescreen hack again and turn it off if it lags?

Re: Rayman 3
Alright, the game's completely fine, except for when I try using uncompressed 32bit textures and x32 resolution it lags. Why?

Is your PC 64bit?

Yes. Is that bad?OldClassicGamer wrote:Is your PC 64bit?
Re: Rayman 3
No, 64bit PCs are good but maybe thats why there is some issue when playing with 32bit textures, I dunno for sure since I am not pro when it comes to this stuff. Just don't use uncompressed 32bit textures and x32 resolution and it should work better.

Alright, though it does still lag without using them...OldClassicGamer wrote:No, 64bit PCs are good but maybe thats why there is some issue when playing with 32bit textures, I dunno for sure since I am not pro when it comes to this stuff. Like the room before the cutscene with the first doctor, if you go in the hidden room that you go to by going backwards and you get all the gems, the game lags like CRAZY! It's like 10FPS until I exit that one room.
