You won't be lucky. There exists no new copy anymore (except if cheap chinaman produce replica).

Look, this store: http://www.gamesstationretro.com/produc ... ucts_id=57 was selling it until not long ago and the game was not a replica (there's not replica for this version of game), just have to be lucky enough to find someone who has not dropped and is willing to sell it.

I know, is not easy. Why I'm trying here!
I don't know where to turn and I'm a giant fan of Rayman, but do not want to buy the 32-bit versions who is tracking down more easily new and sealed.

You'd best keep tabs on the merchandise thread if you want to have any chance at acquiring such a rarity, members who scour the likes of Ebay often let each other know of any outlets there. Though I think the chances of having your exact criteria fulfilled is rare.

Also, please refrain from single worded posts such as "hi," they're not viewed upon favourably. If you want to give yourself a more thorough introduction, please do so here: viewtopic.php?t=1616

Please also refrain from double posting unless justified.

Ok!
Back to us, I tried on ebay and like them, for over 3 years, but nothing! Only discarded copies.

I fear what you look for is like trying to find for the golden pot of the end of the rainbow. You are already lucky if you find for a used game with a conserved box and manual. As Master said, it is a good idea staying on track to the discussions in the Merchandise thread.

LOOKING FOR RAYMAN TO ATARI JAGUAR (NEW/SEALED)

Post by AsherX »

First, Hello everyone, I am new in the forum and I make my homages to the creators of this beautiful place dedicated to our hero Rayman.

I am looking for a long time Rayman for Atari Jaguar (New/Sealed) but without results, I've already tried everywhere: ebay.com, amazon.com and many forums until I came here.

If anyone having a copy (PAL/EU - New/Sealed) could sell it to me please, I pay them very well!

Look at this wonder (New/Sealed): http://www.gamesstationretro.com/produc ... ucts_id=57 and it is out of stock... as everywhere, damn!

lol, how many topics and accounts will you make to tell us that :P
We know you want it, many collectors want it, if I see it, I will tell you but it's rare and nobody from RPC owns sealed Jaguar version I think.

It's very unnecessary to make a second account just to ask the same thing all over again, let alone in multiple threads. Patience is golden, especially if looking for something as rare as this.

Though I want to know, why you are so bent on getting a factory sealed new old stock of this game? Do you intend to open it and play it, or stick it in a nice display case to remain factory sealed to retain it's value and remain collectible?

If the former is true, then why bother searching for a new old stock when you can buy nice condition used Rayman for the Jaguar with less hassle? Also it'd allow someone who'd truly want to keep a factory sealed one intact, have that. Unless the latter is what you are after, then you are back to needing to be patient.

No, I belong to the second case, the game should remain sealed to maintain its (already huge) collectible. I have no intention to discard it, never!
I own all the Rayman series new and sealed, all first editions, and for the more powerful formats on console edition, unfortunately lacks only the first Rayman for Atari Jaguar!

My Rayman/Tonic Trouble collection:

Rayman 2 The Great Escape for Sega Dreamcast (New/Sealed)

Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc for Microsoft XBox (New/Sealed)

Rayman Hoodlums' Revenge for Nintendo Game Boy Advance (New/Sealed)

Rayman Raving Rabbids for Nintendo Game Boy Advance (New/Sealed)

Rayman M for Sony PlayStation 2 (New/Sealed)

Rayman Bowling for Nokia 6680

Rayman Golf for Nokia 6680

Rayman Kart for Nokia 6680

Tonic Trouble for Nintendo 64 (New/Sealed)

I do not own the remakes (for example: Rayman Gold, Rayman Revolution, Rayman Rush, Rayman DS, Rayman 3D exc.), the animated series and the last releases because I do not consider to be part of the series and I've never shared the usefulness of creating them by Ubisoft, I'm strongly opposed to speculation of the classics!
I also do not like the PC versions because the experience on console is the authentic one for which the games are designed!

Okay, thats nice to know, but why did you create second account and topic? There was no reason for it.
As for Jaguar, I'll let you know if I find it.

I would bet a new sealed copy will cost really high, probably >500$, if it ever will appear on eBay.
