Re: Official Nintendo Topic
And how is this image of any relevance to what you just said? Did you upload the wrong one?
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
It is just for anyone who thinks Crash is still with Activision (not saying you think that or anything)
There is even cancellation date there. But for anything else, only time will tell.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Honestly, why can't Naughty Dog just make one more Crash and Jak and Daxter game, we're all waiting for it but they're never getting around to it. Uncharted's generic and boring, like an interactive Indiana Jones movie, but I can't say anything about The Last of Us since I thought it looked interesting although I never got to play it. It seems like many companies are either losing their touch or selling out these days.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Naughty Dog never owned the rights to the Crash Bandicoot series. They had a four game contract (Crash 1, 2, 3, and CTR). When that was up, they were forced to move on, even if they wanted to make more Crash games themselves. As for Jak & Daxter, they literally just don't have any ideas for that franchise, and feel they wouldn't be able to do it justice.Dark Lum Lord wrote:Honestly, why can't Naughty Dog just make one more Crash and Jak and Daxter game, we're all waiting for it but they're never getting around to it. Personally, I'm fine with them how they are. Uncharted is an excellent franchise, with charming characters, an excellent score, beautiful environments, engaging puzzles, fun unlockables, and one of the best online multiplayer games I've ever played. I look forward to the next one. I still have not bought The Last of Us, but I really want to get it soon.

Eh. I played it before and it was predictable and boring. But to each their own.sonicbrawler182 wrote:Personally, I'm fine with them how they are. Anyone got new 3DS Miiverse Update? I will tomorrow. Anyone knows is it good?
Gligar hates it but I am not trusting his videos for obvious reasons.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I updated it a few minutes ago. It is like a portable version of Miiverse except you can't do friendship requests. I think it looks nice.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I just found out about a negative thing with this update. You can no longer change eShop regions and use credit cards from different country and change Euros to Pounds and vice versa. Hopefully this will be changed back with future update.
I will try Miiverse on 3DS and hope I wont get banned

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Oh yeah, they warned about that. It is not an issue for me since I use euro the whole time.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I have huge issue regarding eShop because my region is not selectable so I need to use something else.
I am probably gonna put it as UK, since GAME.co.uk gas email delivery codes for some eShop games, and if they don't have some, I will ask someone from UK to purchase 3DS card and send me code in PM. Of couse I will pay back with PayPal

The Uncharted series s great. While the stories may not be the most original, I didn't find them predicable at all, and the characters (especially in the second and third games) were wholesome and interesting. I'm waiting to save up enough cash for The Last of Us at the moment.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I also disagree. I found both Uncharted 1&2 exciting and fun. Gotta buy third one.

The third one? Man, are you behind!OldClassicGamer wrote:I also disagree. I found both Uncharted 1&2 exciting and fun. Gotta buy third one.
The third one is good, but not nearly on the same level as the second one. And Golden Abyss is just pure shit.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Hm I was interested in buying Golden Abyss when I get PS4+Vita Bundle, but now I am not too sure. What was wrong with it?

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Like I said, to each their own. I personally can't say much since I haven't played a single one of them from start to finish, but the gameplay felt slow, predictable, and boring, the story not much better. That, and I'm not a fan of the realism artstyle - a personal pet peeve of mine, one reason I can't get into most modern games. I'm not saying it's an all around bad game, it's just not for me.technology4617 wrote:Dark Lum Lord wrote:Uncharted's generic and boring, like an interactive Indiana Jones movie

And personally, it still can't compare to their earlier games - ahem, especially Jak and Daxter, which I feel is the crowning achievement of Naughty Dog.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
It's not that bad of a game, I suppose, but I still didn't like it. The bosses were boring (not to mention easy; they're touchscreen brawls, where you have three seconds to respond), there were only two of them, the gameplay was repetitive, the puzzles were tedious and dull (involving a lot of exploration), the touch controls are nonsensical, the sound is crappy (much, if not all, of the soundtrack being ripped from the console counterparts), the dialogue (especially Drake's) was poorly-written with bad and "inside" jokes, the female protagonist fit the typical "damsel in distress" role and wouldn't even carry a fucking gun, and it is a spinoff with no connection whatsoever to the other games.OldClassicGamer wrote:Hm I was interested in buying Golden Abyss when I get PS4+Vita Bundle, but now I am not too sure. Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Uncharted 3 doesn't have as good a story line as Uncharted 2, but it makes up for it with more puzzles, improved melee combat, and the awesome (and still fully supported) online multiplayer mode.
I thought Golden Abyss was actually excellent, even more so considering it's on a handheld. I like it more than the first game, and I actually finished it before moving onto the others (as I heard it was prequel, and it is, though as said before, it really bares no connection to the other games).
EDIT: Just a note on the update to the Wii U Youtube App - it's better, and useable, but you're still much better off using the Wii U's Web Browser if you want to watch videos on the Wii U.

Hm, I dabbled in Uncharted 2 a few years ago, and I can appreciate that it probably does have its audience, but it wasn't really for me.
