Wonder when Nintendo will make a console that actually has a real controller again. I mean, the N64 controller was bitched about a lot but I personally love it, and the Gamecube controller basically took the N64 controller and perfected it. What was wrong with 'em.

Hm, I think the Wiimote had potential, when it was done right, it was done right, the Metroid Prime Trilogy is a testament to that, for one thing.

Wii U GamePad is actually really good, as is the Pro Controller. And in some aspects, it's indisputably better.

For example, the Wii U controllers are the first Nintendo home console controllers to not have that weird octagon around the analogue sticks, which I always saw as quite pointless. This will be better for games like Smash Bros. And all in all, they are really comfortable. And the Wii U GamePad's touchscreen and gyroscope and all of that jazz is actually very beneficial when used properly.

Also, bigger d-pads. <3

The Wii controller was a real let-down though, I use remotes for TV not for fucking video games. I've heard good things about the Wii U's pro controller before though, might want to check that out in the future.

I can tell you that I've played in a real N64 before and I never complained about the ergonomy of it, despite of the controller's size.

I have complaints about the "trident" design, as my left index finger kept bumping into the left side of controller whenever I took my finger off the Z button. I also dislike the massive dead zone and stiffness of the analog controller, though I realize I have to cut it some slack, as it was the first of its kind.

Just got that 3DS update. It's really great! Once they add friend requests and messaging, it will be perfect. So glad screenshots are supported on 3DS, even 3D screenshots work.

This also allowed me to fix an issue on my Nintendo Network account in general. When a certain Wii U update was made, it automatically restricted Nintendo Network accounts from being accessed on external devices. You had to use Parental Controls to change this, but somebody put a Parental Control PIN on my Wii U without telling me and without even remembering they did. So I would of had to ring Nintendo customer support about it, to get my PIN reset, but because I linked my account with my 3DS, I was able to turn off the restriction as I have no Parental Controls set on it. So now I can post Wii U and 3DS screenshots outside of Miiverse!

As have I and I actually really enjoy the controller, my only complaint is the control stick which tends to wear out easily. Other than that though, it has a great layout, three pongs might seem strange but it has an interesting look and design overall. That, and the one control stick, close prongs, and Z button on the back as well as the C button(s) are perfect for shooters which is why the console had a good share of them, and good for 3D games in general. The setup used to play with the D-pad is comfortable as well, and I can see why they chose the D-pad way of playing over control stick for Kirby 64.

Overall an underrated controller.

Ooh, looks very interesting indeed, loving the little Dedede minigame with beats on Green Greens and Gourmet Race.

If you want to listen to those remixes, they are part of a bonus acoustic stage medley from the official soundtrack CD of Kirby Super Star Ultra. It's beautiful, if I do say so muh-self:

This is a good place to ask.

Umm...any good games for the 3DS you fellow members would recommend?

I like N64 controller myself. Too bad the one I own is not in so great condition because person who owned that N64 before me didn't take a good care of it.

Take this news with a pinch of salt, but it's still very interesting and worth discussing nonetheless:

Ok, I finished my drawing for BGAMER's contest of Super Mario 3D World yesterday night and sent it for participation. Now all I have to do is to wait for the results.

Ooh, can't watch the video right now, but I saw the caption, taking with a pinch of salt, but my attention is caught.
