Re: Rayman 2
Both can easily create confusion. I think that Grolem could have been white coloured for example since he is associated to wind, or having a more transparent colour.
Re: Rayman 2
Those flying shell parts really mess with my head! I can't tell up from down and left from right when I get going on that thing! o_0

Re: Rayman 2
Ah, you're in the Prison Ship, indeed, the controls can be a little disorienting, but I've grown accustomed to 'em.
Re: Rayman 2
I just completed Rayman 2 this morning.
Uh, I must admit, I absolutely lost it laughing when Ly's face appeared on that glowing orb. I dunno why, but it cracked me up. And shortly after when Rayman turned his head around with his jaw hanging open, that made me laugh too.
I'm sorry, I know I was supposed to take that cutscene seriously, but... I dunno. XD

Re: Rayman 2
Great. Did you collect all Lums?
Re: Rayman 2
Hahaha, no.
The lum-collecting was not one of my strong points in the game! I guess in a sense I didn't really complete Rayman 2, but I defeated Razorbeard.

Re: Rayman 2
Ah yes, the look of absolute terror on his face when he turns around and Razor's just sitting there in the Grolgoth.
Re: Rayman 2

Also, is it just me or does Rayman close his mouth when he blinks?
Re: Rayman 2
To tell you the truth, I never collected all lums myself either but I will try that for the first time ever in Let's Play I will do once in future.THEdragon wrote:Hahaha, no.

Re: Rayman 2
At the end, Ly was all "The heart of the world has been repaired" and I was all "No it ain't, ya'll missin' a big load o' yellow lums!"
Re: Rayman 2
I admit the face he does is fun when Ly tells that victory is close, but curiously enough his expression is different in Rayman Revolution (and which I personally find more adequate):

But congratulations for completing the game! Now go ahead for the Lums.

Re: Rayman 2
Yes, I watched the PS1 cutscenes earlier and I must say there are several noticeable difference between the different versions.
And I certainly will go back for the lums after I 'cool down' a bit. And I think after playing Rayman 2 I have opened up to the Rayman 2 characters quite a bit more. I wasn't too fond of them before, for some reason, and I hoped playing the game would change that, as it has.

Re: Rayman 2
I know it feels strange since you suddenly are talking to "new" characters like if you knew since ever, but I think the way the game/story is done, it easily makes you forget that oddness and accepting the new characters.
Re: Rayman 2
Yes, that is quite true, it seems.
Also, as much as a lot of the cutscenes towards the end made me laugh at perhaps inappropriate times, I must say I did find strangely unsettling the part where Razorbeard had that fantasy in which the Grolgoth shakes Rayman about and he goes limp in it's grasper. I dunno why. o_0

Re: Rayman 2
Maybe "imagining to shake your biggest enemy" is a common fetische among every villain.
Re: Rayman 2
Rayman 2 is overrated, it's the worst Rayman game ever, you fools.
Re: Rayman 2
The way the Grolgoth shakes him into unconsciousness it rather creepy to me :U Rayman's like,
AaarlglgrBLARGHARALGLEH *knocked out*
But the way Ly's face appeared on that glowing orb... Cracked me up when I first saw it!
And Rayman cautiously putting his nose into Polokus' portal after the last mask is found... I found that really cute.

Sounds like someone didn't have a very relaxing year-and-a-half break from the forum.timoo wrote:Rayman 2 is overrated, it's the worst Rayman game ever, you fools.

Yes, it was indeed cute.THEdragon wrote:And Rayman cautiously putting his nose into Polokus' portal after the last mask is found... I found that really cute.
For the Ly part, I actually felt relief.
Re: Rayman 2
It certainly was a relief to hear that things were getting better for the people of the Glade, but the face on the glowing orb... I think I found it a bit cheesy, maybe that's why I cracked up laughing.
Re: Rayman 2
You're saying this cause you have very bad taste in games.THEdragon wrote:Sounds like someone didn't have a very relaxing year-and-a-half break from the forum.
