Re: Your Pets
@OCG is that dog a maltese?
Re: Your Pets
Yeah, that is correct
They are my favourite dog breed. I can't wait for his haircut because he looks much cuter with it, although that cannot be done now because it would be too cold for him.
Did I mention it is almost impossible to give him haircut or comb his hair
I guess he is too excited because he thinks it's playing. He would just jump on person who is trying to do that to him.

Re: Your Pets
A photo of my dog, Ben, from last Christmas. He's a cross between a Beagle and Jack Russell.

Re: Your Pets
He looks like he could be his own breed.
He seems to have an even influence from both breeds, size from the beagle and appearance from the Jack Russel.
I believe my dachshund may be part Jack Russel (or some sort of terrier), but I am not sure. I posted a picture of him somewhere in this thread.

Re: Your Pets
Yeah, he has a quite a skinny body, but very long legs. He looks like such a goof when he's sprinting about, as a result.

Some of you guys may already know about Pip. She had a surgery last monday. She was spayed. Doing well.

Edit: to make this less awkward, here is a video of her being pampered, one day after the surgery. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I2y2BR2iG0

Re: Your Pets
You did the right thing getting her spayed, glad to hear she's doing well. Just hope rabbits don't get phantom pregnancies like my dog did when she was spayed (3 weeks of thinking that a squeaky toy was a puppy, man as that fun).

Re: Your Pets
The Maltese breed seems to be a popular one here, mine's a Maltese as well.
Re: Your Pets
She's much better! She already has her usual appetite back and she's behaving like nothing happened. I was very worried about her the first night because she refused to eat anything except the occasional snack (carrot and apple).Master wrote:Ouch, how's she holding up now?
The main reason I've done this is to kill the chances of her getting tumors in the uterus later on. I've read that there's an estimated risk factor of 80% of that happening round the fourth year.Cairnie wrote:You did the right thing getting her spayed, glad to hear she's doing well. Red little piranha? Interesting choice for a nickname.

Re: Your Pets
Actually his name is Jalapeño. But as he's rather hyper and playful, he likes to nibble on us. So we often call him piranha.

Re: Your Pets
Ah, Jalapeño, interesting, but seems be a fitting name.
I see, the nickname makes sense when you put it like that.
