Hypnos, Greek for 'sleep'.
Hypnos and Thanatos, Death, are brothers. How fitting!

Vanilla, sounds so sophisticated, graceful, and above all, it is a most scrumptious flavouring.

Re: Awesome words
Rampant, does seem like a bit of a smooth word that's usually meant to describe something that is sudden and quick.
Corollary is a word that one of my teachers have been beating into me for a while, not a bad word though.

Had to look that one up, though, seeing it, I should've been able to guess what it meant.

Hm, I was thinking supernatural with the Phantasm part, seems like I was mistaken. This be turning into the Dictionary consulting thread.
Speaking of word games, I'm reminded of the Countdown show, though there was a numbers round as well, but I digress...malarkey's the word.

Diode, it's not that interesting to read, but saying it feels ever so satisfying.

Re: Awesome words
If memory serves, the purpose of diodes is to prevent current from flowing in both directions, it only allows the current to flow through one way.

Yup - and LEDs light up when they're at work to show you what's going on (their original purpose I believe).Master wrote:If memory serves, the purpose of diodes is to prevent current from flowing in both directions, it only allows the current to flow through one way.
