I suppose so, I remember my friend had it and I never liked it much. It used to show you the unlockable characters in the race, even before you unlocked them which I thought was pretty stupid.Master wrote:Seems more as a way to cover more ground, seeing as the PS1 was probably still rather popular back in those days.

They probably thought it would sell better since more people had PS1 back in a day.rolesfamily wrote:About Rayman Rush - 'The game was released 4 months after Rayman M.'
Wow that's weird... No idea why they did that, and jumped back a console? Seems odd to me..

That's a possibility! I can't imagine it was a very common thing though for game makers to do!OldClassicGamer wrote:They probably thought it would sell better since more people had PS1 back in a day.rolesfamily wrote:About Rayman Rush - 'The game was released 4 months after Rayman M.'

Re: Rayman M-Arena
This old game has always mystified me. Always got the feeling it was hiding something. Nonetheless I kinda miss it. I have the GC version, but the PS2 and PC versions are better in my opinion, gameplay-wise.

Or strong PC with emulation.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
A computer with at least a Core 2 Duo and a good graphic card can run Rayman M in the PS2 emulator with perfection.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Yeah. PS2 Emulator is not that demanding.
Dolphin is the Emulator that is giving me pain with speed.

Of course, but I would say a good one from at least of the year of 2007.Adsolution wrote:Relatively speaking, one that isn't from 2002.Haruka wrote:a good graphic card

Is it just me or does Rayman M seriously bollocks up your eyes?

How so? Looking at footage of it, it seems A-Ok to me, but I'll admit my eyes aren't all that sensitive.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
I find if I play that game, (especially the fighting mode) I'll have buggered up my eyes within the hour. Or less! I think it's to do with constantly changing where you're looking and locking onto all different things and directionsMaster wrote:How so? Re: Rayman M-Arena
Hm, the constant motion and turns get to you, do they?
I've not played Rayman M, so I can't really relate or compare any personal experience to yours, but this does sound curious.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Well it's weird, I used to be fine playing this game as a kid. My eyes haven't got any worse, they've always been pretty good. I've never needed glasses. I don't know what it is, I can only imagine it's the constant change of direction and refocusing on thingsMaster wrote:Hm, the constant motion and turns get to you, do they?

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Ehh, I've seen worse reasons for bumping.
It was part of the tidying up process for the Rayman forums section, this topic ended up destickied because it was barely active (it's been over a month since you bumped), and probably because it's also an old spin-off that hasn't had any recent new things that would warrant new discussion.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
I think I can run it? I can run PS2 Rayman 3 at 60 fps easily, and I have an i7 3770 3.4GHz
Re: Rayman M-Arena
You don't have a PS2 but you bought games for it? Oh well you might be able to find one cheap.Sny wrote:woohoo, i just bought rayman M together ith two other games for a bargain price

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but can't the PS2 emulator play games from a PS2 disc?
