guys that was just me overriding the UDK preview game with Sonic GDK.

I thought "Press E to plant bomb" would make it obvious it wasn't official.

Image not final, will finish later.

I came up with an idea for a story if the Deadly Six return.

"After their battle with Sonic, the Zeti became gravely injured, so much that they had to use the robotization machine they intended for Tails on themselves in order to survive. Not only aren't they mad at their defeat, but they're now part-machine. Despite being angry of losing part of their bodies, they saw it as a blessing in disguise. Since they could control machinery when they were regular Zeti, who knows what kind of power they'll have now that they're part machine. Knowing they can do more than ever now, they get off the Lost Hex and seek to kill Sonic, his friends, and Dr.Eggman."

I plan on doing the rest of the Deadly Six later, but as of now, I just got Zazz done.

Meh, the Zeti were wonderful villains, but I'd like for them to work on what they've done so far, one of the weakest points of Lost World from what I've seen, we're the bosses, which I think could do with a bit of touching up. Personally, I'd like for the next 'un to be a little more run of the mill with Eggman as the main villain without any of the games.

My reasoning for making the Zeti robotized was to give them a reason to get revenge on Sonic, making them a bit more of a threat, and giving them a bit of a more threatening look. I really enjoy the Deadly Six and I hope they do return, I just think they need some improvement. I'm glad were getting new villains who aren't giant monster gods, but the Deadly Six are one-dimensional, even though they have good dialogue.

I'll agree with you there, perhaps said robotisation might also help make them more aesthetically suitable, I know some don't feel the Zeti fit right in the Sonic universe.

I've heard some people compare them to Skylanders. Heck, some people say they would fit perfectly with Rayman.

ANYWAY, I really liked the Deadly Six for what they were - parodies of one dimensional character archetypes that we see in a lot of media.

Also, I already mentioned how I intend to work on my own Sonic game for my 3D Game Project in college. Well, I can say I've started development on it. I have not started designing any actual levels yet. Right now, I have a testing map that I'm using to practice using various things in UDK. This includes many actor classes and volumes that are part of Sonic GDK, which I don't get taught in college. Luckily, there is a handy page on Sonic Retro with some info on a lot of things in Sonic GDK. So my learning process has been going at a very nice pace.

Here's a little screenshot of my little test map. As you can see, I am currently using the Sonic Colours model for Sonic:

I'd hope to be able to make my own model by the end of the year, but that depends on how far the lessons for creating and rigging a skeletal mesh will go. Otherwise, I'll likely stick with the Colours model. I know someone has been experimenting with bringing the Unleashed model into UDK, but there ha sbeen no release of this yet.

Heh, I always thought Unleashed and Colors models are same. But then again. Next Gen Unleashed is obviously at higher res.

Hm, I'd have assumed they would have some differences, given the difference in power between the PS3/360 and Wii.
Could they import the Generations model?

So, NeoGaf leaked Lost World's sales in the US. It doesn't include downloaded copies, but it's still pretty bad.

I dunno, but even if it were possible, I doubt anyone will. If you can get the Unleashed model, you don't need the Generations model, as the Unleashed model has a higher polygon count. The difference won't be apparent to most people either, as they have the same art style. They just cut the polygon count in Generations to help performance on consoles.
