Re: Speed up Firefox
No, your wrong in every way, Firefox is the best.
Re: Speed up Firefox
Since when did I say that it wasn't?
And what's my 'wrong'?
You need reading and typing lessons.
By the way, NetScape 8 also breaks Internet explorer.

Don't worry, I wasn't planning to.Xeiqu wrote:As this is a browser topic, I feel that I need to make the following announcement in here:
DO NOT DOWNLOAD NETSCAPE 8!
It's completely terrible. Bad theme styles, keeps freezing, keeps crashing, keeps making irritating noises, won't allow most internet pages to open in new windows because it thinks they're pop-ups...
And a whole host of other things. Netscape 7 is way better.
Re: Speed up Firefox
Lol! ^^
Very wise.
I might check out Internet Explorer 7 when it's released.
TRANSPARENT PNG SUPPORT!
Even if I don't use it, it's going to be incredibly useful. When the rest of the world can view transparent PNGs... That'll be great.

Re: Speed up Firefox
Indeed, Netscape 8 is an awful thing... not only it has an ugly design, but it's almost impossible to have a happy browse with it.... I've downloaded it when I was completely drunk (
), and now I wonder how to come back to older netscape 7 version... Any clue, guys ?
Re: Speed up Firefox
Well, just search your computer for Netscape 7. Hopefully you didn't delete it
.
Netscape 8 is so hard to look at... All of the tabs get confusing. And of course, the template seems to have been made in about 5 minutes.

Re: Speed up Firefox
Well I've erased all the content of my HDD... Anyway, it doesn't matter a lot, as I'm currently using firefox... I was a netscape user, but since they produced this shitty new version, I shifted to firefox, and I find it quite nice.
Re: Speed up Firefox
Everyone is satisfied with Firefox when they get it. Sometimes it can be hard to persuade people to get it though. ^^
Re: Speed up Firefox
Especially if they are noobz. (lol, noobz rule!)
anyway, firefox is the best browser at the moment imo. why not speed it up? lol

Re: Speed up Firefox
80% of the world don't have FF, do they?.
They have Internet Explorer.
Duh...
The point is that web designers will finally be able to publicly Anti-Alias the edges of images. It's been a major issue for quite a while.
I've got all three browsers on my computer. Netscape 7 is by far the best for slightly more technical things, such as automatically editing .html for you when you upload it.

Re: Speed up Firefox
I wish IE7 understood a few CSS
Let's hope -_-
Anyways, Firefox is the best browser in my opinion, but getting rid of IE is totally stupid, so many websites need it
And IE has less problems than Firefow with big pictures and heavy pages!

Re: Speed up Firefox
It's hard to remove it from your computer anyway.
And I always check my e-mail with it, because that goes faster. Hmm, nub sites work faster on IE. ^^

Re: Speed up Firefox
MSN Messenger doesn't let me choose: it checks emails with IE ^^
Re: Speed up Firefox
I know. But at first I always had hotmail in my list on Firefox. I quit that, since it goes slow.
By the way, this site is very slow too lately.

Re: Speed up Firefox
Oh yeah, I could also use Firefox to check http://www.hotmail.com, but only MSN Messenger tells me when a new email is received (though sometimes it tells me about it one hour after it was received).
Re: Speed up Firefox
You can also just look at MSN if you got a new e-mail, and if you have, open firefox and hotmail. ^^
