Re: Rayman 1
Whoop, I meant the CUE. I haven't emulated it in a while. The provided download in the thread isn't even an ISO.

Actually I managed once to dump an ISO containing the audio tracks as well using Nero 6 and DOSBox was able to read them.Drolpiraat wrote:I doubt a single ISO file would work as it has no information for the audio tracks.
Be sure to launch ePSXe from CDROM plugin. I did this mistake once.

This good boy has Evolve Mutations! Komplete, I presume?
Unfortunately, it's entirely impossible with this information to get any kind of a lead as to what it may be.

Ah, swell, I actually like the choice of instruments used on the Blue Mountains one, it's a unique interpretation.Imco97 wrote:Oh and HERE is an old WIP
I noticed there's no velocities yet, I presume you still have yet to edit those in (as of the 'old WIP')?

Thanks, that one was pretty hard, though I did change the instrumentationAdsolution wrote:But that could mean any Rayman boss. ;oImco97 wrote:You can see the project name

Yeah, I always start with minor (not really noticable) velocity changes so I know where I should put themAdsolution wrote:I noticed there's no velocities yet, I presume you still have yet to edit those in (as of the 'old WIP')?

Ah ye. I find my method of inputting the velocity on every note as I go to be rather unconventional for some reason.Imco97 wrote:Yeah, I always start with minor (not really noticable) velocity changes so I know where I should put them

Re: Rayman 1
I've never been to rip the game as an ISO, as ImgBurn always says it can't put the multiple CDDA tracks in a single ISO file. However, it always works fine with perfect music when I rip my CD as a BIN/CUE or IMG/CUE file.emshomar wrote:Actually I managed once to dump an ISO containing the audio tracks as well using Nero 6 and DOSBox was able to read them.Drolpiraat wrote:I doubt a single ISO file would work as it has no information for the audio tracks.

Re: Rayman 1
Then Droolie is probably right. When I emulate my R1 copy for PS1, it is under the Bin/Cue format due to the audio files (music). You should verify the format you are playing with.Drolpiraat wrote:Are you running an ISO file, or IMG/SUB/CCD or BIN/CUE combination? I doubt a single ISO file would work as it has no information for the audio tracks. If you're using one of these combinations, always run/mount the CUE or if you have it, the CCD file, as they do contain that information. If you have a CUE file and it doesn't work either, could you post it so I can check?spiraldoor wrote:That's the plugin I'm using, with the settings Haruka listed in her video. I've tried 1.7 and 1.8, and the music doesn't work in either.Adsolution wrote:Works perfectly fine for me as well. The most important thing to make sure you're using is the Mooby2 CD-ROM plugin, as the music will not play unless you're using that. Check Repeat All CDDA Tracks in it, and then have it set to autorun the ISO.
If you're running from the original disc, then I guess that doesn't matter.

Re: Rayman 1
I could also upload my rip of the NTSC-U version of the game, which actually runs at full speed, rather than 50hz, and doesn't have the broken tracks that the emuparadise .bin has. You will need to use 1.7 to get it to work, though. 1.8 only works with the PAL version.

Re: Rayman 1
My copy is bin + cue, but I always managed to run exactly the same copy just fine under Haruka's settings on my old Windows Vista laptop, so I'm pretty sure it must be an issue with my system.Drolpiraat wrote:Are you running an ISO file, or IMG/SUB/CCD or BIN/CUE combination? Re: Rayman 1
That's really odd. I run Windows 7 Professional 64-bits in my computer, I have the latest emulator version, the same ROM and the same plugins and the game works perfectly.

I was just wondering if anyone had run into the same problem. Never mind, I'm sure I'll figure it out sooner or later.

Re: Rayman 1
I have run into the same issue, but it was caused by my ISO. Did you turn the CD volume up in Mooby2?
Also, unless you ripped the image from your own copy, it is probably best to use the file I provided, as it does not have the issues with the CDDA tracks that other image rips, including the one on emuparadise, have.
EDIT: Sorry for the bump. I was going to post something but then didn't.
