Re: SOTM #56 - Futuristic
Thank you for eventually understanding. Might I also suggest adding a mecha-like background to it instead of simply changing the gradient?

That's not a bad idea, I might try thatSerza5 wrote:Thank you for eventually understanding. Might I also suggest adding a mecha-like background to it instead of simply changing the gradient?
EDIT:
I like how incognitos signature is actually historic, as Star Wars takes place in the past

Re: SOTM #56 - Futuristic
Fixed up the rules a bit. The most notable change being the rule which stated you had to PM me to change the sig you submitted, which I found bollocks if you had to submit your sig here anyway. So any sigs, be it the first submission or a change must be posted here although I will not penalize you for PMing me the submission.

I had slightly more ambitious plans for this one originally, but here we go.

Ooh, getting a bit of a retrofuturistic vibe with those blimps, nice work, Dango!
EDIT: Is that Squidward?

Re: SOTM #56 - Futuristic
Thanks mate! Honestly I'm not sure if I meant them to be blimps or Jetsons-like flying cars. Guess it's up to interpretation. #arrrrrt

Re: SOTM #56 - Futuristic
Hmmmm, I still don't know because it just looks like you took the last one and made it blue. The background is certainly nice though.
@Dango : Pretty sweet sig there.

Anyway, I really don't know what to do about it more than this :/
EDIT: What about this

Changed the font, mushroom is gone, background, lens blur, signature, asymmetrical, shading, highlights, metallic filter, no more lines on the nose...
Oh, and my favourite phrase from my favourite Disney movie

Re: SOTM #56 - Futuristic
To explain my main problem with it; I feel like the robot looks more like one made of scrap iron metal rather than something a but more....er "futurey" and even if you changed the colour of the metal it still feels that way.

Last edition, futuristic enough or not, I'm not going to spent more than 5 hours on a banner :/

It's my favourite too but please don't call that a quote from a Disney movie. Read the books!Imco97 wrote:Oh, and my favourite phrase from my favourite Disney movie![]()

I've read the books silly, but I don't think most of you have, and to be honest, some people don't even know it's a bookHunchman801 wrote:It's my favourite too but please don't call that a quote from a Disney movie. Re: SOTM #56 - Futuristic
I'm pretty sure many an Alice in Wonderland book by Lewis Carroll hath occupied our Primary School libraries, whether or not many of us actually read it, I don't know, but I wouldn't assume that most here are ignorant of there being such a book.
