+Progress on my game is going a lot more smoothly than I expected.
+Other assignments have fairly generous deadlines, so I'll probably get as many of those done within the next week, leaving lot of time to experiment in my 3D game at a leisurely pace.

- I've been sick all week and it's not getting any better. It's not like I've taken any medicine anyway. :|

How far are you in the game? I find the guides on Raywiki, as well as Haruka's playthrough videos extremely helpful :)

I can't remember finding Bongo Hills that hard for the most part, since I've been watching my brother play it since I was 5 and know where all the jumps are. My best tip for Bongo Hills would be to practise timing, since that is what it mainly consists of. Once you've got the hang of timed jumps/crouching etc, Rayman 1 becomes a lot easier :).

I know it sounds a bit pathetic (although it isn't once you consider that Rayman Junior isn't really a good game for teaching kids primary education, but rather how to play video games via Betilla's Garden ), but playing something like Rayman Junior before tackling the main game also really helps to get the hang of Rayman's mechanics and level design style. That's what I did :D

I can’t get past the part with the lightning eyes.
I do have Amazing Learning Games with Rayman (Rayman Junior for the PC). :)

Which map? Do you mean the dark map with the thunder effects, or an earlier map with lightning eyes?

Also, is your copy of Amazing Learning Games for PC the American one? Because OldClassicGamer was very interested in that....

Hold on a second, you don't really own an original copy. I am pretty sure it's just my patched one.

Yes it is the american and today I released a patched version of it but for those who are interested in the original copy here is the link:

+PS2 emulator has all around been providing a satisfactory experience so far on my laptop. I still need to get fiddly for different games, but at least I can catch up on some PS2 games now. Including Rayman Revolution, at long last!

+ Three day weekend right after two days of staying home

- Getting dragged to bowling tonight. I suck so much at bowling that basically all I do is sit around for two hours, getting up everyone once in a while to throw my ball and miss again.

+/- Visiting Dallas with the family tomorrow. Fun, but I'm not really in for it because I'm still not feeling all that well and I'll have to put up an act that I'm 100% happy or else I'll get to hear that I don't appreciate anything and how disappointing I am. :/

Just jump over the lightning and you'll be fine. You mean the fourth stage, right?
