Ah yes, Raven, hm? Well, Time Lords can regenerate into less humanoid forms, so who knows?

His name's Rhook, actually, Raven is the other of Rayman's species.

Memory lapse, my bad, Rhook the Vulture, and Raven the female Rayperson, gotcha.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Probably because Rhook is inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's ever-so-famous poem 'The Raven'. Not that I've ever directly mentioned that before or even realised that myself upon the character's creation, but it's not the first time someone has either automatically assumed that Rhook is a Raven or gotten the names mixed up there like you did, since I think that poem or related symbolism must be buried in all our subconsciouses somewhere.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
I know I've posted almost literally nothing in the last long time, but despite that, things are being heavily worked on. One of the reasons for all the secrecy is because not everything being worked on will be interesting to the eye, but the other, more important reason is because we've devised a strategy in order to avoid a Cease & Desist as best we can. No, we haven't received any warnings or even any word from anyone to provoke this, we just realise that we need to be careful. We are planning on showing things, it'll just be a lot less frequent, but at the same time, a lot more impressive when we do.
Here's the smallest possible tidbit I have to show that I made today:
http://www.mediafire.com/listen/s0mwm5v ... /Raven.mp3
It's Raven's complete theme, recorded with my actually okay-quality, just noisy laptop mic. I finished putting together the thing today, and it took over an hour to get a structurally and melodically consistent recording without mistakes. I'll be doing a full production of it soon, but I can't guarantee that I'll be releasing it any time soon!
I'm not sure how many would notice since this is a reference from two years ago, but the main part uses the same chord progression as Fun in the Snow, as that's essentially what this would be replacing.
My personal favourite part is 1:12, it just felt awesome when I came up with that melody.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
That was a really good track, Ad. Has to be one of my favorites from the many tracks you've created.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
A fantastic track, Ad! Are you planning on having more instruments added to it or will it stand as a piano track?

More instruments, of course! I could never pass this off as anything more than the equivalent of a quick, rough paper sketch.

Meh, I'm pretty sure plenty of folk have done such an act without the hefty repercussions you're insinuating, though I'm sure your concern is appreciated.
