I didn't think of that, but that's even a better choice: You get 480p by using Component cables. Gamecube got component cables too but I don't find one online :/

Emshomar found this Rayman Arena beta and shared it with us on Skype: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EseBx2h7Gbw
You can download it here: https://www.mediafire.com/?txg01dsc8sswpco (just save it as RaymanArenaBeta.iso)
You can then run it on Dolphin.
Thanks you so much Droolie ! :D

Seeing how it is shown in Dolphin looks like they were planning PAL release at one point. Shame it got cancelled.

Oh yeah, it was found recently and it is something I've added already on my MediaFire in order to archive. :)

I should give it a try, any link explaining how to do that?

Modding a Wii? I believe there's an entire article dedicated to it on the Wii Homebrew Wiki: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_setup

You can start by installing Homebrew Channel:

Allow me to introduce the awsome xBR shader for ePSXe :D . It will make Rayman 1 look nearly Rayman 1 HD! It's super awsome and in my opinion everyone should use this so here is a tutorial how to install the awsome xBR in your ePSXe emulator.

1- You must have Pete's OpenGL2 2.9 installed and selected.
2- Download this:
http://www.emucr.com/2013/04/epsxe-shad ... 30427.html
3- Extract the archive and you will find the xBR shaders inside 'Pack by Emu-France'
4- Create a new folder wherever you want. (I will create a new folder inside my ePSXe folder for example) and move all these shaders to that folder.
5- Launch ePSXe and select 'Config -> Video'
6- You should have selected Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 or it will not work fine. Hit Configure.
7- Match these settings:

8- Hit the buttom next to shader effects and the dropdown menu and select the folder of a shader you want. So we want the xBR scaler right? But there are many. I picked '5xBR-v3.7 GLSL' -> '5xBR-v3.7c'
Note: if you have slf/slv files in that folder select GLSlang files in the dropdown menu. If you see vp/fp files instead select ARB program. And if you see both just select ARB program or GLSlang whatever you want.
9- Hit OK and OK to save and close both windows.
10- File->Run CDROM and enjoy :D

Hmm, I tend to be a bit reserved about this kind of filter, they can make a game look a bit blotchy at times.

They are trying to give the best out of a game but you might be right. Though, it feels great for me :mryellow:

I do, hehe.
On the topic itself, I know it can make an oldbie look pretty decent, but I'm more for simple smoothing rather than blotching, matter of taste is all.

The emulation instructions for Rayman 2 PS1 are really lacking. It doesn't even suggest a simple graphics driver, or what settings to use, when both those things are entirely necessary. Here's what I have:
  • Download Pete's OpenGL2 2.9 and drop it in your ePSXe/plugins folder.
  • In ePSXe, go to Config -> Video -> Configure and set Render Mode to 2.
Before anything is added, is setting Render Mode to 2 a necessity for others? For me, if it's at 0, the game crashes; if it's at 1, it loads, but I only have audio. 2 works perfectly.
