- I had yet another encounter with my asshole gym teacher when I lost my laptop's power cord, and simply asked if this skinhead had seen it (as it seemed somewhat likely that it fell out in the locker room, as I took my laptop in there), and he, again gave me a smart-assy and unnecessarily rude spiel (keep in mind that my question was only about six words long) about why I could possibly think that he stumbled across or cared about such a thing as a laptop cord, and that it was "odd" of me to ask, since students normally had the sense infer that he, as a gym teacher, wouldn't care about that kind of stuff (despite the fact that every class, including P.E., uses computers in some way). As you can already tell, his logic is very flawed, as there are a great many ways he could have stumbled upon it, and, while on the subject on sense, common sense would dictate that I really didn't put a lot of effort into asking if he had seen my FUCKING LAPTOP CORD.

Now, you may argue that this really isn't anything to get that upset over, though this is his general demeanor, and some piece of shit constantly being passive-aggressive to me for absolutely no reason is something that really gets under my skin, especially from a figure that is supposed to be one of neutrality. Oh, and don't think he's done. Last time he reported me for "odd behavior," despite the fact that I had done nothing "odd" in the slightest (I don't really think knocking on a bathroom stall door is odd), and was only pissy since would have been obligated to produce human speech for about three seconds.

- Throat is sore and Nose is bunged.
+ My week is slightly shortened in College, and I've got a half term holliday.
- Sadly, there's revision to be doing in that period.

+ Finally received my new gloves (the previous pair was too large).
- Now they might be a bit too small. But I can stretch them, I guess.

- I found out my friend also sent her a card :|
+/- He doesn't know I have a crush on her
+ I think I have better chances
+ He made a spelling mistake on his card
- I hate myself for mentioning the above 2 pluses
+/- I kind of feel an urge to ask her out on a date next week

Just be honest dude and ask. Doesn't hurt to try. I could never quite understand why some guys hide it and not ask. If you don't do it, the other guy might do and your chance will be lost. So I suggest you do it.

Just fucking ask. It'll be much less painful to ask, even if you get a "no," than drag it out. I went through a very similar experience last year, in which I (failed at) trying to be "kewl," which pretty obviously made me look like an idiot, and managed to drag this out for the entire fucking year (excluding the time I asked her for a dance), and when I finally asked, despite the fact that I got an "Sure...yeah...maybe..." (in short, a "no") I still felt much freer than I did before. Just don't stutter and you'll be fine. :P

Yeah, another guy dated the girl I liked for a while, as I didn't have the balls to ask her until about six months later.

Isn't that a bit hypocritical? ;)

But, in all seriousness, we are teenagers, no use in pretending that we're not. This thread is designed for you to put whatever's making you happy or troubling you, and those things shouldn't be trivialized simply because they might be "typical of a teenager."

Not really. Sorry if my views are rather typical to someone my age's. Sorry I can't be unique about every fucking thing. But the fact is that people within a certain age group are generally going to experience the world in more alike ways than people outside that age group, so it's inevitable that some of my viewpoints will be typical to a teenager's, as, put simply, that's what I am.

Sometimes people get very much life expérience in a short lifetime and react in a different way.

"Life experience" is a very nonspecific term. You can have "life experience" in many different areas depending on the type of person you are, and, though you might have more experience in certain areas, I might have more experience than you in others. Everyone has different forms of "experience," and saying that generally, effectively implying that your knowledge is superior to mine overall, is idiotic.

And, as you said, a person with more experience in that area would react in a different way, not necessarily in a way more beneficial to Imco. I'm still free to share my advice on the subject, as I have gone through a similar experience that he's going through currently, and thus I can relate to his feelings possibly even more than someone who has bnged 50chix ns stil cumin hard bb.

Hate to break it to you, but you're really no more "mature" than me or any of the other teenagers on here. ;) And this

struck me as a kind of stupid generalization of teenagers' problems anyway.
