Well I may not be good at making Fanmade Works but this is a little idea I had when I was thought it up.
It is called: Rayman: The Arcade Game
Well the general gist of it is like this:
The objective of the games is to battle the forces of evil in fast, frantic and arcade game styled versions of the Rayman games but with Quarter Munching, Dangerously Hardcore Gaming difficulty that is so insane that you could get a heart attack trying to get through the game without taking damage, without losing any lives and trying to do all of that going for the 100 percent completion while trying to get the highest score possible.
The story is the same as the games they are based off of but with a some differences.
1) Rayman, Globox, and the 2 Teensies are playable characters and they have to defeat the big bad of the game. They have more or less the same powers but with differences in speed, power and defense. For example, Rayman is the Balance Character who has no strengths and weaknesses, Globox is the Mighty Glacer character who has Good Defense and Nice Offense but is slower than the rest, Teensy Green is the Fragile Speedster who attacks fast and moves quickly but gets knocked back further when he takes damage and his attack is weak without using combo attacks to rack up attack power, And Teensy Blue is Range Character with magic attacks that can reach farther than the rest of the gang but his attacks is slow and his speed is faster than Globox but Slower than Rayman.
2) The levels are a lot more arcadey and there will be traps and hordes of enemies that will cause you to pop in more quarters to add in more lives in order to survive the battle, The bosses are more harder than their home console counterparts and they even have buffs and boosts and critical modes that they will unleash onto you when they are about to go down for the count.
3) The cages act like the prisoners in metal slug. When you bust a cage open, the freed electoons will give you a powerup that will help give you an edge and they will count to the end of level bonus provided that you don't lose a life in the chaos.
4) Think of the gameplay as a combination of various arcade Beat-em-ups with the rayman platformer gameplay that you all know and love. And you can have a 2 player cabinet where you can pick a character and go, or a 4 player deluxe cabinet where you and 3 other friends can battle against the forces of evil.
That's all I got so far. What exactly do you think so far? (And no, I am not kidding when it comes to the difficulties of said battle because arcade games need to have the chaos needed to motivate the players to do better and to have more quarters put into the machine so that arcade owners can make profit.)
What if the Rayman Games had Arcade Counterparts?

I have to say that the idea to mix Arcade and Rayman is wonderful. For a long time I have wanted to create an arcade style version of Rayman 1 so I might actually think about this project if it's okay with you.
But of course, if I'm going to do something like this I have to finish my other game first. I don't like that big projects stack.

That's fine. Go head, knock yourself out. Just don't overload yourself with too many projects.Raymanni wrote:I have to say that the idea to mix Arcade and Rayman is wonderful.
