Re: Rayman Legends
I think I've already spoken out against the annual/biennial idea in regards to Rayman, but to each their own.
Re: Rayman Legends
@OCG Actually, the multiplatform release barely contributed for the sales increase:

Oh, I see. Didn't know this article before.
Well, maybe Next-Gen releases boost sales more.

Re: Rayman Legends
My ideal Rayman release schedule would be to have two separate teams. Have one team with a bigger budget work on 3D games that have more story and open ended worlds to them, and have the smaller team continue with 2D games that expand on the stuff Origins and Legends do without bothering too much with story elements and focusing on competitive and co-operative ways to play, and all around crazy, comical humour. Effectively splitting the franchise into two branches, much like Classic Mega Man and Mega Man X, or like how Sonic recently got the Sonic Boom branch.
That way, we could get some kind of Rayman game every year or two, but each game would be different to the last, because if we get a 2D game, the next is a 3D one, and so on and so forth.
That'd be in an ideal world though. I don't think Ubisoft will be willing to adopt such a plan anytime soon.

Yep, I saw it. Rayman Legends can be bought for approximately 13€ at the moment.
Re: Rayman Legends
Definitely worth the price. Hopefully it will increase sales.

'Bi-annual' actually means twice per-year; the word thou seeketh be 'biennial'.Master wrote:I think I've already spoken out against the annual/bi-annual idea in regards to Rayman, but to each their own.

Re: Rayman Legends
My thoughts on Rayman Legends:
-Most original ideas for worlds I've seen in a while
-I've love playing as Barbara, she is such have for playing like everyone else
-MUSIC LEVELS!!
-Non- linear
-They had origins added in for people who didn't have it before(that was nice)
cons:
-intro could've been better
-I need to be online for the challenges.
-Barbara could've used a proper introduction
-Final boss, While awesome, is a bit easy

Re: Rayman Legends
I forgot to mention I also liked the little personalities some enemies, like the skeletons playing with instruments, the toads being savage and tactical(maybe it's just me) and the minotaur who like to have their evil lairs all clean and tidy.

Re: Rayman Legends
Meh, I think while there's a little bit more variety in the attacks of enemies in this instalment in comparison to Origins, they could really make them feel like actual impedances and not mere hurdles.
Re: Rayman Legends
At least we already know that scene was made through Autodesk's 3D software.
Re: Rayman Legends
I'm currently in the Desert of Digeridoos in Rayman Legends. I was tired of waiting to get the next Jibberish Jungle level because I kept on getting levels for the worlds I didn't even want to go to at that point, so I just moved onto the next world to get some lucky tickets in hope that I might unlock another Jibberish Jungle level. But, uh, yeah. I'm on the third level of the Desert of Digeridoos.

Re: Rayman Legends
Levels for Back to origins are actually unlocked in a specific order, so you'll eventually get all the levels.lumgum wrote:I'm currently in the Desert of Digeridoos in Rayman Legends.
