I'm tired, yet I've pretty much lain awake in bed for the past five and a half hours, staring at my eyelids and unable to sleep;

I've been putting up with that almost every night for more than the past six months. It's a pain in the butt, though at this point, I've gotten used to it.

-/+ I reached 100 followers on tumblr. This would be a complete positive, but I'm not someone who's ever really cared about how many followers I have. I don't even understand why I have any, really, I don't really post much original content, and when I do, it's generally just text posts. And any non-original content I post is just reblogged from really popular blogs or from a tag. Most tumblr users would celebrate or thank their followers, though I don't feel the need to. It's just a thing that happened. Plus, I'm pretty sure at least a few are bot blogs or anything similar, so it doesn't feel like I legitimately reached this number.

-/+ Got the house more or less to myself (my sister is here but she's just staying in bed all day on her laptop). I don't have to worry about much hassling, but I'm kind of sick of feeling really...passionless lately. All of my friends seem to have suddenly forgotten I exist (BTW, I don't mean anyone here, as I have not really become very close to anyone here, so don't worry). Whenever they DO talk to me, it's only because they need something (which is a trend I am really sick of). "That one person" is still plaguing my mind. And I've put up with so much bullshit in my college course, that I've lost all enthusiasm for it and I'm glad it's nearly over, and I'm pretty much just doing what I need to do rather than what I want to do. So peaceful days like this give me a lot of free time, but there's barely any passion in my actions anymore. I just kind of do things.

- It's disheartening to see that others on this topic seem to be feeling down. I sincerely hope things look up for you guys.

A post about how girls are apparently widely discriminated against in the sense that they can't publicly talk about their masturbation habits without being frowned upon showed up on my dash, and I replied to it saying that while I'm sure there is an extreme minority of stupid people who specifically look down on women for this, it's just GENERALLY unacceptable to talk about that subject in public, regardless of sex, and the fact that this is seriously being considered as a legit, widespread issue was completely stupid to me, as it just means that the SJW's of tumblr really don't have their priorities straight. I'm pretty sure if I, a guy, walked into a public place and started talking about jerking off to things to the point where people all around me notice, I would probably be kicked out of the establishment REGARDLESS of my sex (unless it was a place where it's fine. Like...a strip club...can't really think of anywhere else it would be appropriate). I also noted that I myself have talked to girls about the subject many a time, specifically them talking to me about their habits, and I've always been OK with it. My urge to respond to these kinds of feminist posts is out of me being sick of being grouped into a very small minority of stupid men (who would still be stupid even if they were women) just because I am male. I'm tired of seeing posts that are attempting to make me feel bad for things that hardly anyone does. Frankly, it has been weighing down on me a bit (as I have a history of being accused I've doing terrible things I have never, and will never do, so it's a personal thing).

I then got anon hate for that and it's hilarious what they are sending me. And trying to debate anonymously is stupid in and of itself, because it shows that they are not confident in their own points.

You're judging the whole of the SJW, as well as feminism in general, in that one single post is currently sounding absurd to me. I will not disagree with the fact that the SJ system there is broken, and from what i've seen, split as well. Dare I ask would you think poorly of me if I said I was feminist? Provided I am not nearly as stupid as people in posts like that.

I don't look down on feminism and I have had many a friendly discussion with people who make it known they are feminist. One of my favourite Youtubers is also feminist (not because he is a feminist, but I thought nothing of it when he mentioned he was). While I do think it would be better if people just fought for injustices because they are injustices and not focus on any particular group (as this causes segregation and malicious and selfish use of the support of a particular group. In this case, feminists), sensible feminism is still good. I have no problem with there being an International Women's Day, for example, and I have no problem with feminists rising up and getting vocal about it when a legitimate injustice against females is at hand. In fact, I think most of the feminists I see on tumblr irk me because they are these pretentious teenage girls who think shaming all guys just because they have run into a few dickheads makes them a feminist, when it's actually besides the point. Feminism is meant to bring EQUALITY. It's supposed to fix the injustices that lead to women being treated unfairly. It's supposed to make women equal, BUT NO MORE than equal. Lately, all I see is posts trying to put men down and make them feel ashamed or inferior, but how is this making women equal? In doing this, they will just reverse the situation - men will start talking down to women even more, and thus, an endless cycle will ensue.

Also, I'm not judging anything from a single post. When did I say that? I was just saying that this particular case is an example of why lots of feminists on tumblr are extremely out of loop. They're focusing on the smallest and irrelevant things and calling themselves "feminists". It's not everyone, and I won't even say it's the majority, as it could just be a very vocal minority. Regardless, it's depressing to watch.

And for reference, I do not consider myself a "feminist", but I consider myself someone who cares about universal equality. A neutral person. I will not specifically side with men, women, black people, white people, Irish people, British people etc. But I will not stand for injustice against any of these groups of people. Which is why you will see me agreeing with genuine feminists as much as I am seen disagreeing with the pretentious ones.
