I remember watching this (1995-made) movie back when I was twelve, and I concluded that it was the definition of the 'epic music' genre. Zimmer took the idea of an orchestra and made it his own. This seven-minute track has absolutely everything in it. 4:35 is my favourite part.

Interestingly, the final level in Revenge of the Dark was entirely formulated from beginning to end based off the progression of this track.

I just want to peer into Zimmer's DAW for one moment, to see how on Earth, or in the Milky Way, he mixed that choir. Their voices are clawing at you from the sapphire mist behind the strings.
