< started watching F-Zero Densetsu today. < is enjoying it so far.
EDIT: < was discussing character mock-ups on Smashboards for roster lists, so people didn't have to use recycled artwork for their wishlist rosters. < made a custom Captain Falcon one, so people can have one to use before his reveal for the game.

But < wants a Bluetooth controller to be able to avoid cables because there are only 4 USB ports on <’s Mac and < doesn’t want a USB port taken up just for a controller. Re: The You Game!
If ^ wants to use a PS4 controller, ^ should wait until it's officially compatible with PC, as Sony plans to make that so. There is an unofficial tool for it, but it isn't very far in development, and is EXTREMELY picky and a pain to get working. It wouldn't work for <.Fifo wrote:But < wants a Bluetooth controller to be able to avoid cables because there are only 4 USB ports on <’s Mac and < doesn’t want a USB port taken up just for a controller. However, if ^ wants to use a PS3 controller, ^ should download the following (text for items needed are links to where you can download them):
Better DS3 (the program that allows you to connect and configure your PS3 controller settings
64-bit PS3 controller drivers
32-bit PS3 controller drivers
(Note: You don't need both drivers. If you have a 64-bit machine, you can just download the drivers for that.)
These will allow ^ to play any controller compatible PC games, including emulators, using a PS3 controller. It's best to use the "Xbox 360 Controller Emulation" option, so ^'s PC thinks ^'s controller is a Xbox 360 controller, as it's the fastest way to set up the button config, because there is an "Auto-Fill" option that automatically assigns the PS3 controller to it's Xbox 360 equivalent (for example, the X button on the PS3 controller will automatically be assigned to function as the Xbox 360 controller's A button). Xbox 360 controller Emulation also has no Six-Axis support, which is good, as ^ shouldn't need it. However, if ^ ever wants to use Six-axis, the other options allow ^ to.
This is all free, but if ^ wants to go wireless, ^ will need a Bluetooth USB adapter. They go for about €20 in computer stores. In the meantime, ^ can use whatever cable ^ uses to charge PS3 controllers to connect the controller by wired means (this will also charge the controller).
If ^ has any difficulties, < can provide video tutorials or instructions on how to set this up. It's pretty simple and quick, and once ^ tackles the initial setup, playing games in the future is just a matter of connecting the controller, opening the application, selecting Xbox 360 controller emulation (you can make this automatically be applied upon opening the application, though), and clicking "Apply".

< has a Mac, the controller should work right away as Macs have built-in support for the DualShock.
