I know how you feel, I tend to find it easier to spawn conversation with people I'm really close to, otherwise, I feel somewhat awkward in initiating conversation.

That's generally the way things are, but that should make it easier to actually start a random conversation with someone, so you can attempt to get to know them closely!

+ Okay, so to start things off... There's this girl in my class, Carmen, who I really like. Last week I finally brought up the courage to ask her out, we cycle home together on thursday, so just being with the two of us wasn't a problem. Anyway, so I asked her out and she answered something like: I don't know, we have test week in 2 weeks and I really need to study, perhaps I have some free time next week, I'll see. So by that time I felt pretty bad, as that kind of sounded like a rejection and a lame, yet plausible, excuse. Now comes the better part. Today, Thursday, we cycled home just as we do every Thursday and suddenly she said this: You know, I've been thinking about what you asked me and I'd love to go out when test week is over. That's when my day was officially complete

- I've only eaten dinner at home once this week, and it's fucking annoying. Besides it majorly screwing up my diet it also easily eats two hours out of my day and when we get back my father doesn't have time to help me with my homework anymore. My whole exercise routine is getting messed up by it, and doing push ups at 9 PM in my room isn't exactly something I find enjoyable for longer than 20 seconds.

+ Aye, the same here. I've been listening to Miles Davis and OK Computer for the past three hours after some not-so-pleasant things.

+ I might take my guitar into my car at this here 1:00 AM where it's all nice and soundproof and play. Why hadn't I thought of this before?

- Not so pleasant things. I've been experimenting with my piano lately, putting tacs on the hammers and seeing what they sound like when they hit the strings, and so on. This eventually relates to some pseudo-science bollocks about how leaving the piano open will supposedly cause the mechanics to break down from these two fuckers I live with, then being called a disrespectful, lying little shit for 'arguing'. Pff, right! I'm plenty aware of the effects the air has on the insides of a piano, and it's not really much, alongside the handy piece of knowledge that the instrument in question isn't even remotely air-tight. Fuck this nonsense, it's hardly worth explaining.

I should start going downstairs while my brother's at school and put all of his guitars back in their specified cases, every single day.


- I've been having a world of trouble trying to get the save files for Rayman 2 (the ones I'm creating for RaySaves) to work consistently. For some reason, they've all suddenly began to give me an error when I try to load them (despite them having worked previously), with the error message "Err, the saved gale can't be loaded" [sic].

-/+ I haven't really been interested in gaming at all lately, aside from local multiplayer with some friends, in which case I've been fairly active in Brawl and Halo. I probably would be more into singleplayer gaming if I had any well-deserved downtime, none of which is currently well-deserved.

- I'm getting really pissed off about weekends not being for recharging from a week of work and people, but to cram in every little thing that needs to get done. I stayed up until nearly 5 AM last night just to have a little bit time for myself. Now I wake up and already have the burden of an essay, review paper and the whole send-off for my brother who's moving out.
