Re: Rayman Legends
Ah, I remember seeing that ad on the second page of a Nintendo Power. I thought it was hilarious, though mildly disturbing at the same time.
Also, Rayman doesn't have legs, so he obviously could not wear boxers. His only choice are briefs!

Re: Rayman Legends
I still think that ad is a little misleading. He's clearly not tall enough to reach the urinal. Hurr-hurr.
Re: Rayman Legends
That's a Rayman 3 ad but ok. The truth is there's a zipper in the 3D model of R3.

Re: Rayman Legends
Hm, wasn't that only the low-res, or am I misremembering something?
Re: Rayman Legends
I have awesome news for Rayman Legends:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-PS-VITA-RAY ... 2516.l5255
Japanese PS Vita version. Glad to know it is no longer exclusive to Wii U in Japan. Now I hope for PS3 version.

Re: Rayman Legends
Why a ps3 version? May as well go to Xbox one and ps4 as well.
Re: Rayman Legends
Cuz I wanna buy PS3 version of Legends and buying Japanese one would be best if it existed

Re: Rayman Legends
Hmm, how'd they manage that then? Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Ninty responsible for RL's publishing in Japan?
Re: Rayman Legends
Nintendo was only responsible for Wii U version publishing. Nobody can forbid Ubisoft to publish rest of the versions in Japan themselves.
I even sent email to Ubisoft today and asked them if there are any plans for RL PS3 Japanese version. I will let you guys know what is the answer when they respond back.
Either way, having Vita version in Japan is great because it means that sales are doing better there.

Re: Rayman Legends
Huh, so it is, that's pretty curious, especially seeing as he's not meant to have strings:

Re: Rayman Legends
I'm amazed that this wasn't posted on RPC yet, but Ubisoft is making a fanart contest:
http://uplay.ubi.com/en-US/news/uplay-f ... contest-e3
The problem is that I find the rules a little confusing in terms of prizes and what we really must do. A PDF document with the conditions of participation (you know, these stuff always exist) would be useful for a full understanding (and deciding if I would really give it a shot or not).

Yeah, don't contest conditions usually go into more depth than that?

Re: Rayman Legends
Hm, I see what you mean. Either ways, any of you folks going to give it a shot?
Re: Rayman Legends
Of course.
Also the contest isn't only exclusive to Rayman, but to all of Ubisoft's franchises. Unless you already knew that.

Re: Rayman Legends
Yeah they told me personally that it can be anything Ubisoft has ever done so anything from Tonic Trouble to Beyond Good and Evil. It's worldwide as well (I also asked that just in case it was US only otherwise I wouldn't have entered) so I might give it a go (if I did win, and there's v little chance, that could mean 2 US trips this year oh man oh god).
Re: Rayman Legends
I would like to enter, though I don't know if I can, since the site didn't allow me to enter with my age below 18 ( it obviously did when I entered a fake one ). If I won, it would be the ever first time I visit the USA.
Re: Rayman Legends
I'm pretty sure I'm going to enter - even if it's just for the sake of having my art judged by Ubisoft Montpellier.
Re: Rayman Legends
The problem is the trip itself. I have evaluations in June so I can't really go anywhere. I would love to have my drawings seen by Montpelier but the chances are really low knowing it is a worldwide contest. And besides I am busy with school for April. Oh well, good luck if any of you is thinking in giving a shot.
Re: Rayman Legends
Oh boy. Another lucky fan.

I totally understand - if I happen to win (it's very unlikely) I will have to cancel the trip in favour of my exams too. I'll be quite busy for uni in the coming month too, but I hope I can still draw something decent, and if I can't, I'll just submit some of my earlier art. If you don't have time, maybe you could do the same - that way your art will get judged by Ubisoft Montpellier anyway.Haruka wrote:The problem is the trip itself.
